We had Kenji for our day tour in Osaka on 12 April 2017. Despite a rainy day, we enjoyed ourselves with Kenji's planned itinerary and also his services. He was patient with our questions and shared with us the history of the Osaka Castle and the Sho-guns - making the Castle visit interesting. We liked the Cherry blossom mint - there are so many types of cherry blossoms. Because of the rain, it was difficult to take picture as it was too cold and wet. Also, we had to keep moving so that the place will not jam up. As we were making our way to Kyoto after the tour and had requested Kenji to bring us to the Osaka station and showed us the Kyoto train platform. Kenji gladly agreed and he personally led us to the Kyoto train platform. He also made sure we were aware of the timing of the next 2 trains before taking his leave to his own train platform. Thank you once again, Kenji!
Kenji arrived an hour early from our departure time and patiently waited for us at the lobby of our apartment. He showed us shrine, temples, observatory deck and Hep Ferris Wheel. He's very thoughtful - he made sure we ride an elevator instead of stairs so that my Dad will not tire easily. He also gave us a gift -a pad origami papers for each of us. In return, my children made fortune teller and crane (out of the origami paper he gave us) as a remembrance from them. We hope that you will keep the photo we gave you to remember us. Hope to get your service again when we go to Japan.
Kenji has been a very useful guide, we couldn't have travelled without his suggestions and precious support: train and bus timetable, common life tips and zen or religious information, just 3 fields he perfectly share with us. Thanks, Kenji!
Kenji did an excellent job of compiling a tour for my family taking into consideration what we particularly wished to see in the time available. We visited major cultural sites such as Fushimi Inari shrine and Kiyomizu-dera Temple as well as walking through interesting areas such as Gion, Niseki markets and Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. His choice of restaurant for our lunch was appreciated as it was housed in a traditional building, in an area we would never have found by ourselves and served delicious Japanese food. Kenji was very organised. He purchased our rail tickets before meeting us and provided us with a timeline to explain the historical periods of Kyoto. I would highly recommend Kenji if you are considering a tour of Kyoto.
Kenji was very patient with me from the planning stage to the day of the tour. He was flexible and easy to talk to. I highly recommend him for your future tours. Thank you Kenji :-)
