I am very familiar with leading tours throughout Japan so on occasion, I would be happy to create a bigger experience in other parts of the country if you would like to discuss directly with me.
***Please note that this is three stage process: We would agree on destinations to be included. 2. I would compile an overview. 3. If that is accepted, the guest agrees to receive a detailed itinerary including information about attractions, activities and transit details.
**Depending on the guest's length of stay and the time required to produce the tour itinerary document the guest may be quoted a fee of my hourly rate up to a maximum charge of (8) eight hours and if satisfied, to agree to accept that (subject to some reasonable amendments), the agreement to receive the itinerary would be a binding contract to agree to pay for the itinerary with no further obligation to accept it as a tour offer.
I am based in Hiroshima and ask the guest to cover the cost of my fares including round trip transport to Okayama

We work for a television station from America who came to Hiroshima to gather material for a human interest story that will be seen in the USA during the 2020 Olympics. We hired Hugh for two days. High was prompt with communication and was a tireless worker who helped coordinate interviews. Hugh provides important interpretation for two interviews with Hiroshima bomb survivors. Had a great day in Hiroshima thanks to Hugh! Lots of information and details about the city and its history. Even when some of the places were crowded due to the Japanese summer holidays Hugh managed our time efficiently. Highly recommended!
Thanks, Joan! Very glad you enjoyed it as much as I did sharing it with you. Best, Hugh

He was punctual and very friendly. He shared his experiences of the Buddhist and Shinto temple sites. He was very good at getting us around with public transport. He is Australian though he has lived here for approximately 15 years, His English is flawless and his insights were very welcome, especially at the peace museum and the temple sights.
Thanks Brannon, Christine and James. It was a real pleasure spending the day with you.
Hugh prepared a great 5 hour tour to Hiroshima. He is very knowledgeable & friendly. The 5 hours went very quickly and he ensured that my teenage son was engaged at all times. Really enjoyable and I would highly recommend Hugh. His approach is friendly and he set the tone for a great 10 days in Japan. Thanks Hugh. James & George Cheney
