Feel free to personalize this offer with Shoji.
We visit World Heritage site in Nikko. Toshogu, the main facility of the World Heritage is a Shinto shrine established in 1617 to enshrine Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Edo Shogunate that ruled Japan for over 260 years until 1868. Rinnoji Temple used to integrate the temples and shrines in Nikko including Toshogu Shrine until the Meiji Restriction in the late 19th century, when shrines and temples in Japan were forced to be separated by laws. You will not only be moved by the magnificent and solemn architectures and carvings but also can explore the history of Nikko and learn the syncretism of Shintoism and Buddhism, which has been strongly influencing our lives in Japan.read more

We enjoyed going around Tsukiji outer market. At Hamarikyu Gardens I was curious about the “mound” with a door that I saw and Shoji explained the purpose of it very well. Shoji brought us to a nice place for tempura at Asakusa. I wish we had enough time to visit the museums at Ueno Park. Shoji obliged when I requested to go back to have photos of Rodin’s sculptures. And we’d like to thank Shoji for including an additional stop (Yushima Tenjin Shrine) in our tour at our request.
I am very grateful to your kind words. I am really glad to hear that you enjoyed the Tokyo tour with me. I had a great time with you too. Thank you again for choosing me. I hope we will see you again soon!
Shoji provided us with a great overview of some main attractions in Tokyo. He allowed for a flexible itinerary and was happy to change it as the day went along if there was something we were interested in doing or seeing. We had a fabulous day with him and really enjoyed his company. his personality and demeanor are very calm and it is easy to spend time with him. He arrived on time and had good explanations of all sites. He was happy to answer any questions throughout the day as well and we had many! We will be happy to go another tour with him when we can!!
Thank you very much for your kind words. They really encourage me. I’m very glad you enjoyed the Tokyo tour with me. I also had a great time with you. I hope you will come back to Japan sometime.

Time well spent
Thank you very much for joining the Tokyo tour and giving me a good evaluation. I also had a great time with you. I hope you will come back to Japan some time. Thanks, Shoji
We had a very full day of sightseeing in Tokyo. Shoji picked us up at our Hotel at the arranged time and we spent a few moments explaining what we would like to see. Immediately we set off for the Imperial Palace and was impressed how organised he was. We visited 3 other sites, had a lovely lunch in the meantime and finished our tour at Shibuya crossing where he helped us get on the correct train line for our Hotel stop. Shoji was very easy to talk to and was very knowledgeable on the history of Tokyo and the sites we visited. We would recommend him to any other person wishing to experience Tokyo the way we did.
Thank you very much Kay and Laurie, for your kind words. They encourage me a lot. I am glad you enjoyed the tour with me. I also had a great time with you. I hope you will come back to Japan in another season. Thanks, Shoji
