This tour is walking around the site of the World Heritage, such as Nikkosan Rinno-ji Temple, Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Nikko Futarasan Jinja Shirine, Rinno-ji Taiyuin Temple dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu the first shogunate of the Tokugawa Shogunate. Each spot has several tourist attractions. There are many beautiful historic buildings, monuments, and sculpture which were built about 400 years ago.

What to Expect

・You can expect that the architectural splendor is represented by a group of ancient temples and shrines. The Toshogu Shrine, with its twenty-three structures, is the most
 magnificent example of the old architecture of Japan existing today.
・For your memory, I will take your pictures during a tour, then make slide show with music. I will let you know via your email address based on your approval.
・On the following day if you have a time, I recommend you a cycling tour.

Starting time 09:30 AM
Meeting Point At the JR Nikko Station, the Tobu Line Nikko Station, or your hotel in Nikko. You can choose whichever for your convenience. Please let me know before a tour.
Ending Point Same as above.

admission fee, transportation fee (you and guide), lunch, dinner, All the expenses incurred during a tour.
・The total transportation fee for a round-trip is ¥8000 (from JR Shinjuku) or ¥10120 (From JR Tokyo) from Tokyo 
・The total admission fees at the world heritage site "Shrines and Temples of Nikko" is ¥2200.
The total additional fees for museums is about ¥1000, if you interested in.
・High class restaurants and fast food shops are available.

*I will try to follow your requests as many as possible such as working hours, date, and where to go.
Especially in Tokyo, I can arrange contents of your tour where and what you want. Please tell me what you
are interested in. If you want a special private tour other than my regular tour, please give me information
three weeks earlier of your stay in Japan.
*I'll make a free digital photo album during your tour with me and send you it through your e-mail address if
you agree to open to the public.

・The price include tax and the guide's travel cost between his/her home and the site of the assignment.
・ Admission fees for each temple and shrine are not included in the price.
・ All the expenses incurred during work will be borne by the client.
・ It is possible to take one day trip from Tokyo, and there are many hotels around the stations and the world heritage site.
・ If you fix a plan from Tokyo in the morning, it is convenient to take these trains as follows.
ⅰ)From JR Tokyo Station, take JR the Shinkansen yamabiko #123 for Sendai (7:12), change a train for JR Nikko at Utsunomiya Station (8:24), arrive at Nikko (9:11)
The transportation cost is ¥5060 ( If you have a Japan rail pass, the cost will be much cheeper ).
ⅱ)From JR Shinjuku Station, take the JR Express Nikko #1 for Tobu Nikko (7:30), arrive at Tobu Nikko (9:28)
The transportation cost is ¥4000 ( If you have a Japan rail pass, the cost will be much cheeper ).
・The total admission fees at the world heritage site "Shrines and Temples of Nikko" is ¥2200.
The additional fees for museums is about ¥1000, if you interested in.

Can I make changes after I book?

Yes! If you need to make changes such as removing or adding someone to your booking or changing the date or time of your tour, contact us by phone or email

Starting and ending points of the tour.

After you secure your booking, the starting and ending points of your tour can be customized to your convenience (ex.: your hotel, nearby stations, etc.). Don't worry, we will take care of you! Some tours may have an extra fee for this service, make sure to check the tour page.

What happens after I book a tour?

After booking a tour, the guide will accept (or decline) your booking within 24 hours. Then you will be noticed by email from Triplelights.

Is the price per person or per group?

The price is charged per group. Which means that you make a one-time payment for your entire group and the price will not change if it is less or more people.

Can I add more people to my booking?

Some guides accept extra people (more than the specified number) for an extra charge. Please check for the extras on the tour or booking page, or contact your guide directly to clarify.

Will there be other tourists in my tour?

No. Your tour is private, only for you and your family or friends, there will be no other group of tourists together in your tour.

Can the guide pickup me at the airport?

Yes, but there will be additional charge for that and it is not by car. The guide will go pick you up using public transportations. For further details, please contact your guide directly.

I'm travelling alone. Can I book this tour?

Yes, you can and you may be able to get a discount if you are traveling alone. Price depends on which guide you choose.

“ One day tour of Tokyo. ”
