I have been hoping to interact with the Geigi of Japan, and Niigata is a good place to start. For this purpose, I have made the reservation of the restaurant, very helpfully, Yoshiko san has helped me confirm with the restaurant. On the day of the appointment, she waited for me on the station platform and made sure I don't get lost. She waited for me to let me complete some of my work, led me to a local liquor store for some good sake. and brought me to the restaurant. Over in the time, she frequently explained to me some local excursions and historical facts. Thank you, Phillip, for your compliment to me. It was such an experience to talk with geigis and see their dances right before us. I was so much amazed by your knowledge on Japan. It was the very first time to see a person with profound understanding of our history and culture as old as Jomon period or Japanese prehistory. I learned a lot from you and geigis. I know those beautiful Furumachi geigis had a wonderful time with you too. Please have enough rest after that bullet tour. You must have learned a lot in that short period of traveling Japan. Please have more time in Niigata next. I would love to show you around more then. Thank you again for coming all the way to Niigata.
