“ No complaints, but Nobu has room for improvement ”

First of all my wife, 12 year old an myself had a great day with Nobu visiting Mt. Fuji and the surrounding areal. Nobu knew the area and was flexible. He did a great job arranging transportation and made us feel comfortable. Some suggestions however that could have made the trip even more enjoyable. Food: Being flexible is very important but also having some go to lunch and snack places in mind is important. When it came to lunch, I felt as if we were looking for food rather than the guide suggesting a couple of places he knew and trusted. Lunch was worrisome instead of an opportunity to experience a good, trusted and familiar local restaurant. Also, since we had a private car, it would have been a nice touch to have provided a few bottles of water. This is common in other private tours we have been on. Language. Although the guide had reasonable English, it would greatly improve the tour experience for him to have a higher degree of conversational English. This would allow the guide to engage more with the customer during travel and lunch so that a deeper connection and cultural exchange is possible.

Nobu:

Dear James, Thank you very much for your frank comments and useful advices for me. Concerning lunch, I feel sorry for not being satisfied. I regret to say that I had limited options in that area. Even so, I should have taken some action for satisfying you. As for bottles of water, the car company usually prepare them, but the driver seemed to forget it. Of course, it was my responsibility. I will make my best efforts to improve my conversational English. Thank you again for your review. I very much appreciate it. Nobu

“ Tokyo & Hakone visit ”

Nobu is mature, seasoned, conscientious, very knowledgeable guide. He helped us with airport transfers, visit to Hakone and with bullet train tickets. Without his help, we would have been lost in maze of logistics. We were a group of 9 boisterous, excited( by Tokyo standards) Indians wanting to experience Tokyo. Nobu handled all our requests, painstakingly answered all our questions, patiently listened to us. We had a great time👍👍

Nobu:

Thank you very much for your review, Sanjay. It is my great pleasure to hear that you had a good time in Japan. There are many other good places to visit in Japan. I hope you will visit Japan again in the future. Nobu

“ Great and helpful guide. ”

My family and I had a great time with Nobu. He managed our trip to the Mt.Fuji area well and everything went smoothly. He also tried his best to help us book a taxi to the train station a few days after our trip with him was over which was very nice of him to do.

Nobu:

Thank you very much for your review, Michael. While we did not have enough time in each place because our time was limited, I hope you and your family enjoyed the trip. Please also enjoy your stay in Kyoto. I am Looking Forward to seeing you again in the future. Nobu
