The five-storied Pagoda and the Tokon-do of Kofuku-ji temple have been burnt down five times and the present buildings date back to the 15th centry.

“ Excellent tour and great Guide!!! ”

We had really good time with Makoto. He met us at Hotel lobby and spent all day exploring Osaka with us. Very knowledgable guide. He was able to make it fun for our entire family. Also he helped us a lot with figuring out subway system as well as JR. He even went to the actual train to make sure we successfully board the correct train. Thank you very much for all the effort.

MAKOTO:

Dear Alex. Thanks for your nice review message. The tour date was the day of Osaka marashon day, and so many people were visiting Osaka, which caused inconvinience even for the seat reservation of Bullet train. But you met your flight at Hanade, which I was so glad to know. It was so enjoyable to guide you Osaka, and happy to know that you enjoyed the Osaka tour. Thanks again for your choosing me of your guide. MAKOTO

“ Kyoto in 7 hours. ”

Mak was great - we saw the Nijo-Jo castle and the Golden Pavilion and 2 other wonderful sites. We ate an authentic Japanese lunch and we even had green tea ice cream. Mak is knowledgeable and communicates well. WE glided about the city in cabs and even took the metro. I would use Mak again and will recommend him to any of my friends who travel to Japan.

MAKOTO:

“ Most prepared guide we’ve ever had. ”

Right from the start, Mac did everything to make our tour as pleasant and comfortable and interesting as possible. He immediately provided us with some great visuals that clarified complex Japanese history and made the Osaka destinations come alive. They are so good we intend to keep these and share them with our friends. Mac introduced us to a typical Osaka lunch which was delicious. He helped us learn Japanese phrases and has a great sense of humour. Everything was tailored to our interests and the pace was perfect. We were lucky to have Mac as our guide and would recommend him to anyone.

MAKOTO:
