Mack was on time and waiting for us at the agreed upon spot of Osaka station. We gave him a list of several places we were interested in and asked him to plan our day. It was a seamless adventure from start to finish! He even threw in street experiences, food and sake tasting, from quaint shops off the beaten path. He gave us a little history about Buddhism and the Shinto religion while we were on the train and he had a visual handout for us about the places we would visit today. I would highly recommend him to anyone! He gave us some recommendations about spots to visit in Osaka on our last day.
Dear Martha, Thanks for your nice comments. I am very pleased that you have enjoyed the tour. I have enjoyed very much especially the visit of Daitokuji, where no other tourist is visiting here, and felt that we owned the temple. I also enjoyed being with you for shopping souvenirs and tasting Sake. Thanks again for your choosing me of your guide. MAKOTO
My goal was to see some sights, get some history and feel comfortable using the transit system. Mac delivered on all accounts. We were glad to learn the difference between a shrine and a temple. He knew the best spots for pictures. He was very conscious of the heat and our comfort. Thank you again for a wonderful day

Makoto led us on two tours of Kyoto: Popular places & Historical places. Our tours around Kyoto were great! Makoto has a plan for each day that covered exactly what we wanted to see. He was knowledgeable about the sites and was very pleasant. He gave good advice for places to go in the evening after our tour. We would definitely recommend Makoto as your guide.
Dear Barbara, Thank you for your prompt review comments. I am so happy that you have spent good time in this tour. You, Richard, and Allison have very good sense of humour, and I also enjoyed being with you for two days. I hope you have nice stay in Japan and enjoy the rest of schedule in Japan. Thank you very much for your choosing me of your guide. MAKOTO
We spent a great day with Makoto. His English is perfect and he really showed us everything we wanted to see in Nara (and more). The sites are rather spread out and therefore if you want to be efficient, you really need the help of a guide. It would have taken us twice the amount of time to figure out where to go on our own, and Makoto was very helpful not only to make our day smooth, but also to explain everything. We really do recommend him for a day in Nara. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Makoto
Dear Francois, Thank yoi very much for the nice comments. I am so happy that you have enjoyed the toir. There was good chance to be rained in the tour day, but it suspended for us,which made the tour niice. I enjoyed Isuien garden personally as there were almost no visitors. Thanks again for your choosing me of yoir guide, and I hope that you come back Japan again. MAKOTO
