We had a really great day with Yoshi visiting a number of sights around Kyoto. He was extremely knowledgeable and seemed to have answers for all our questions. He has a genuine warmth and a real sense of pride in his cultural traditions. It was certainly very insightful in terms of learning a lot more about Japanese culture and traditions. Also Yoshi sets a cracking pace to ensure you can cover as much as possible in a day , my 2 teenagers struggled to keep up with him! I would certainly recommend Yoshi to anyone looking to make use of covering the major attractions of Kyoto in a day, you wont be disappointed. He even helped me find a replacement set of reading glasses after i had left mine on the plane to Japan.
We used Hiro for one day in Kyoto. He was very knowledgeable about the temples that he took us to and spoke English well. The only issue we had is that he was WAY too fast paced for my family. He had an itinerary and there was no deviation from his time table or what he had planned. He was often way ahead of us and we had a hard time keeping up. My son wasn’t feeling well and could not keep up with the pace. My son and I ended up leaving the tour early and my daughter and husband stayed with Hiro the rest of the day. I still would recommend him, but you should tell him up front your expectations.
Dear Beth Thank you Beth for your compliment on Dec 25 tour in Kyoto. I always take care of time shedule of the tour and I walk on so fast without caring for my guests. Sorry, I made a mistake. I should walk more slowly than usual on that day because your son was not in good condition. Best regards Jan 10 Hiroshi Y.
Hiro is very well organised and his first day choice of locations was excellent. It was a productive and educational day.
We took a one day Kyoto tour with Hiroshi-san. He is very friendly and my son liked him very much. Hiroshi-san taught us many interesting things about Japanese culture and lifestyle. In between he was quizzing us and gave us a gift as promised at the end of the day for the winner !!!. He took a lot of photos for us, and they all are awesome. He also helped me in getting my tickets for Sagano scenic train. Thank you Hiroshi-san, it was very nice meeting you and spending a day with you.
Dear Baby I am grateful to you for your great reviews on Dec 6 one day tour in Kyoto. I was delighted to see that both of you showed us great respect and sense of wonder to Golden pavilion temple and Fushimi-Inai Shrine and Kiyomizudera temple as well. Best regards Dec 22 Hiroshi Y.
We had a wonderful day touring with Hiro. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and entertaining. We covered a lot of ground but didn’t feel rushed. I recommend him highly but do advise any future groups to practice fast walking to keep up with him!
Dear Cathy Thank you Cathy for your great review of the Dec12,one day tour in Kyoto. You must be feeling like walking in the forest of Buddha when you entered into Sanjyu-sangendo temple and all of you enjoyed watching over beautiful Gardens in Koudaiji-temple, even though autumn leaves season has gone. I was relieved to see that you were able to encounter with a Maiko-san walking in the street in Gion. Best regards Dec 24 Hiroshi Y.
