“ Koyasan One Day Tour ”

Noriko did an excellent job in modifying her one day Koyasan tour to start and end from a hotel in Osaka for a group of six people. Without Noriko's help, it would have been difficult for first time visitors to Japan to navigate the transportation to and from Koyasan, especially during rush hours. I highly recommend Noriko as a tour guide.

Noriko:

Dear Allen Thank you for your comment on my tour. I’m glad to learn your safe return home, hopefully with pleasant memories in Japan. I look forward to meeting you all sometime again. Noriko

“ Truly deserving of it's exceptional 9.9 rating ”

Noriko is a highly competent and conscientious professional guide. I thoroughly enjoy spending the day with her and will book her again on my next trip to Wakayama which incidentally is a very interesting place and outlaying cities like Yuasa is worth a visit

Noriko:

Dear Daniel I was so glad to share a pleasant time with you. I hope you enjoyed the tour. Thank you for your kind review. It is my great motivation for future tours! Hope you enjoy the rest of your journey in Japan! Noriko

“ Exceptional! More than a tour guide. ”

I have no words to describe how amazing Noriko-san is. She is a guide, but I was looking for someone to help to trace my family back in Wakayama-ken. She offered more help than I could have asked for and she did a lot more than could have ever asked anyone for. I get emotional by writing this because she is exceptional. She goes the extra mile to please her client, and we literally went knocking doors to look for my relatives. She is fantastic, a blessed soul in my life. Noriko-san, I will be forever grateful for your commitment and dedication and will never be able to thank you enough. Hontou ni arigatou gozaimashita.

Noriko:

Dear Chelmy-san, Thank you so much for choosing me as your guide for visiting your ancestor’s home town, and giving a warm comment. Though it was rainy, I think you could still have such a good time in Aridagawa-cho. I really wanted to find your relative for you. I’d like to show you some other interesting places in Wakayama, too. I hope we can meet again sometime soon.Thank you again for sharing the wonderful time. Best regards, Noriko

“ Guide with superior customer service ”

Noriko was the best guide we had during our 12 day stay in Japan. My family of 5, with 3 children, spend two days with her. Prior to our first meeting, she took her personal time and money to help me find my Japanese relatives about 45 minutes outside the city we were staying. I was amazed at the quality of her guide work and ability to communicate with my entire family. I would recommend her with 100% confidence

Noriko:

Dear Todd, Thank you for your compliment. I’m happy to have been able to help you out. I hope it became a good memory for your children, too. I will certainly see you again soon. I offer my very best wishes to you and your family! Best regards, Noriko

“ Yuasa food experience ”

I have an interest in traditional Japanese fermented foods and contacted Noriko via Triplelights for a visit to Yuasa, the home of Japanese soy sauce. We met at Yuasa train station and walked around town for the next five hours visiting two soy sauce makers, and a kinzanjimiso maker. Noriko had researched the tour thoroughly before I arrived, and was very professional, friendly and pleasant to be with throughout the tour. Soy sauce icecream with soy sauce topping was a surprise culinary highlight during the tour, as was wasabi kinzanjimiso. The spontaneous tour offered by a miso maker was most interesting to me, and the hands-on experience of making soy sauce at Yuasa Shoyu was a lot of fun. I'd also like to thank Noriko for suggesting the local specialty whitebait for lunch. Delici... read more

Noriko:

Dear Quentin Thank you very much for your kind message. You know very well about soy sauce and fermented foods. My knowledge about them was not very satisfactory but I am so happy that I could show you the birth place of soy sauce and you enjoyed walking the old historical town in Yuasa. The weather of the tour was perfect for walking. I hope you will come back to Japan. I am looking forward to seeing you then again. Thank you so much for joining my tour. Best regards, Noriko
