Visit some traditional factories of textile to enjoy "deep" Mt.Fuji region
Make your original woolen goods at a factory as an optional activity.
Feel free to personalize this offer with AYA.
"Fabric" is one of the most necessary things for living. Everyone uses it for fashion and in many other situations through their lives.
Some people say that it must be made all by automatic machines nowadays, but it is not.
Textiles are product of the combined efforts of numerous craftsmen and you can see its technology and tradition in the region near Mt.Fuji in Yamanashi.
"Gunnai" region, expanding out from the northern foot of Mt.Fuji, has flourished as a textile town since more than a thousand years ago.
These days, many factories provide their original fabrics for worldwide brands which are for clothes, ties, interior goods, umbrellas and other various applications.
There are small factories and family-run factories which together make up the textile town, and each factory has their own role(dyeing, warping, weaving etc).
By meeting the craftspeople and touching the material, you can get to know the textile-making process and its uniqueness.

Aya planned a wonderful trip to two parks full of cherry blossoms. She adjusted the itinerary thoughtfully considering our preferences and was always cheerful and helpful. It was such a lovely way to spend the day chatting with her. I highly recommend her as a guide.
Hi Huiyong! Thank you so much for your great review. It was such a wonderful day to enjoy the cherry blossoms and peach orchard. The weather was perfect and most of the places we visited were quiet and peaceful. I hope the photos taken through this tour will be one of the best in your albums. I guess you’ll visit Japan again in near future? Please come back again to Mt.Fuji area! Aya
We loved our time with Aya. She took us to great places around Mt. Fuji, and we were so happy to have her as our guide. She is friendly and fun; we had a great time; it felt as we were just hanging out with an old friend. We laughed a lot while sightseeing. I definitely recommend Aya for any tour; we will defiiitely reach out to her again next time we visit Japan.
HI, AJ Thank you so much for the great review. You were so lucky to be in Mt.Fuji area on that day! We could catch such a beautiful view of Mt.Fuji with autumn leaves under the blue sky and enjoyed trekking in Aokigahara forest. You don’t know how much you two made me feel relieved and enjoyed the time with you. You two were very friendly and supportive before and during the tour. I really appreciate that. If you like Japan, please come and visit here again so that I can show you more “deep” Japan! Take care and let’s keep in touch! Aya
Highlight of my entire trip! Booked Aya and a private driver to visit some of the best lookout spots to see Mt. Fuji with our own private onsen and some trekking to 3 different lookouts to see more of Mt. Fuji. I could not find any faults on our day together with Aya and our private driver. She is a real sweetheart who is also really down to earth. Not only that she is extremely knowledgeable in her field and expertise. I will definitely be looking forward to booking Aya again and making strong recommendations to my friends and family. She is extremely easy to communicate with prior and on the day. She is very accommodating to our needs and her hospitality was exceptional! extremely easy to get along with. I hope to meet you again along with my friends in the future. Than... read more
Hi Andrew Thank you very much for the great review! You were so lucky to have such a fine day to see Mt.Fuji with autumn leaves from different aspects. I would like to see lots of photos taken by you using the special cameras. The things I won’t forget especially are ice-creams(blueberry and WASABI), your laughing from the private hot spring and the chatting during trekking. You all three were very friendly and kind that made me relaxed and enjoy the tour together. Time flies when we are having a good time. If you have next opportunity to come to visit Japan, I would like to meet you and support your trip again. I hope you three will get along well forever. Thank you!! Aya

Ken and Sandi Thank you so much for giving me a great review. I could spend a wonderful time with you in the town of wineries, Katsunuma. We were able to visit 4 wineries you were interested in and enjoyed tasting. I was surprised with lots of knowledge about wines you have and also it was a good experience to hear about wines in Australia. I could feel you very close from the beginning and enjoyed talking with you about wines, our families, our countries and many other topics. We laughed a lot! I was such a lucky tour guide to have you as the customers. Thank you very much again for joining my tour. Hope we you’ll come back again to Japan with your whole family someday!
