You will explore 2 types of caves, Saiko Bat Cave, Fugaku Fuketsu Wind Cave and watch one more Ryugu Cave. You will also leave your steps in beautiful Sea of Tree known as Aokigahara Jukai. You will see how volcanic activities of Mt. Fuji affected the area. Take note that Saiko Bat Cave will be closed for the period of Dec. 1 - Mar. 20. Thank you for understanding.

What to Expect

"Sea of Trees" known as Aoki-gahara Jukai, have been created by eruptions of side volcano of Fujiyama (Mt. Fuji) in 9th century. Eruptions destroyed old rich forest and had filled the land with lava. The oldest trees generated on the lava are estimated back 300 years, meaning current mysterious Sea of Trees is still relatively young forest. In this mysterious forest, some say compass mal-functioned and others say compass completely broken. In this Sea of Trees, we are able to see lots of caves like bat cave, wind cave and ice cave, created by the same volcanic activities.

1. See beautiful forest known as Sea of Forests on lava with thin soil layer
2. Explore two caves. Saiko Bat Cave and Fugaku Fuketsu (Fugaku Wind Cave) and visit another Ryugu Cave.
3. Understand Mt. Fuji activities
4. Feel mysteries of the forest

As options, I can take you to Nenba as Saiko Iyashi No Sato, and/or hot spring to which all are welcome even with tattoos.

By coming to Saiko Bat Cave as a meeting point by Green Line bus (stop 66) from Kawaguchiko Station by yourself and taking the same Green Line bus from Fugaku Fuketsu (Wind Cave, bus stop 71), where you end the tour, back to Kawaguchiko Station, you can experience local route bus rides in coming and going back while enjoying the area and great view of Mt. Fuji.

“ 2 full days in Tokyo ”

Yuji was great for our 2 days in Tokyo. He was always prompt, attentive and courteous to all of us (group of 5 adults) and made any adjustments to our itinerary we requested. Communication was excellent. He is very knowledgeable and made sure we were well informed. Highly recommended.

Dear Jeremy, Thank you for taking time to review my tour and myself. It was good two days and I think I enjoyed guiding your group. Some of things I feel I should have been more careful. Your days continue and hope you will have more fun and enjoy every part of our country. Take care until we meet some other day in the future. Yuji

“ Journey of a lifetime ”

My son could not have had a better guide or person take him to the top of Mt. Fuji! He watched over his safety and made the entire experience one he will never forget! He stayed in contact with us from the time he was booked and kept us informed on conditions and everything that was needed! We will recommend him to anyone coming to Japan!

Dear DeAnna Thank you for your quick review. I have had so many concerns in light of weather and the forecast turned true. Unfortunate about the weather and views but I have understood John would appreciate just reaching to the top. Good job for John as we were even able to make a round at the top. He stood at the highest point of Japan. It was a memorable experience for me, too. We also had good conversations even when we were out of breath. Thank you. Yuji

“ Perfect English speaking guide! ”

We were looking for a guide who spoke excellent English and could lead us on both a day hike on Mt. Fuji as well as tour other sights. He was willing and able to do either or both and customize it to be exactly what we wanted. He did a wonderful job at telling us in depth about the sights as well as giving us a better understanding of the culture and location. We had just arrived in Japan and he was an excellent introduction to the country. He was also very helpful with helping us figure out how to book a ticket we needed for the next day. He is a very nice, kind, interesting and knowledgeable man who we would highly recommend as a guide.

Dear Laura, Thank you for taking time to review the tour. And thank you for the nice review. It was a rainy day and unfortunate but we had some lucks, too, by having been able to see the face of Mt. Fuji. As you just arrived, I could have given more introductions but too much is sometimes not good. I just hope you will spend good days in Japan to enjoy to your hearts' content. Please enjoy whatever you feel you would like to enjoy. I made it to the top of Mt. Fuji regardless of the rain. Thank you again. Yuji

“ Excellent guide ”

Yuji was very meticulous and helpful. He gave us a lot of sound advice during the trip. We enjoyed his tour very much. Would definitely look for him again if we need a guide next time.

Dear Yen, Thank you again for having booked with me. I have revised some itinerary as I thought you could enjoy some well-known sightseeing spots. There are more to see but you can save them for your next visits in the future. If the weather is fine, Mt. Fuji area offers variety of Mt Fuji faces from different angles and Mt. Fuji shows different faces season by season. You may try Yoshida trail next time for your Mt. Fuji climbing. Please enjoy further for the rest of days in Japan. Take care. Yuji

“ Very caring aervic ”

Yuji helped me customize my itinerary. He was on time and provIded good information along the way. He was informative, caring and respected my requests. We went to a great place for lunch and then at the end of the day as arranged, he dropped me off at the Mishima train station. Like a caring family member, he came inside the train station to make sure I was all setup for my train departure. Highly reliable and recommended.

Dear Nalneesh Thank you for your taking time to write a review. I am more than happy to have received a good review. We were so blessed with a good weather and that was really great. We also had good insightful conversations. I know you are busy but I will be more than glad if I can be with you again in the near future. Yuji
