The Fuji Five Lakes and the Aokigahara Forest are fascinating natural wonders created by Mt.Fuji. They remain untouched nature sceneries. They are on the north side of the mountain, in Nation Park of Japan, and are only 2 hours away from Tokyo. It is the ideal place to purify mind and body in the tranquility of nature.
The Fuji Five Lakes were created by gushed water which have been going through Mt.Fuji and filtering into the grounds for over 20 years. Each lake has their own character and a different view of Mt.Fuji.
Aokigahara Forest emerges from a lava plateau. Feel the magic of its fairy-tale like trails, with snaking roots and green moss. There are over 100 caves created by lava in the forest. You can venture into one of them, and even in summer, feel the chilled air of 0-5º C (32-41º F) that fills the cave.
We can also arrange other sightseeing spots including Ashikawa Village, Arakura Sengen Shrine, Oshino Eights Ponds…etc. The Tour itinerary is flexible and can be adapted to your requests.

Motoyuki is fantastic. It was a great tour but even more important was he went way out of his way to help us. I was with my elderly mother and he went to a lot of effort beyond what could be expected to help make things easier on her. I have stayed at some very high end resorts and the customer service from Motoyuki was even better. He is not only a good tour guide but such a calm and caring man. Looking forward to seeing him again next time I am in the area.
Moto is a fantastic guide, he was happy to share his local knowledge of Mt Fuji, the Forrest, and the Shrine which was exactly what we were looking for. Moto was able to accomodate my slow walking and extra stops for viewing My Fuji. I would book Moto again in a heart beat, he's amazing :)
We had the absolute best day with Motoyuki! He was so fantastic and kind right from the pick up and made everything easy for us with helping figure out transport of where to meet him and he planned one of our most memorable days in Japan. Our itinerary on our limited time in the Fuji area he was able to show us some amazing viewpoints at the Fuji 5 lakes and took us into Aokigahara forest to the ice caves which was incredible and even to a Japanese onsen with views of Mount Fuji from the indoor and outdoor hot springs. Lunch was also amazing and we were able to try some local delicacies to the area. I highly recommend a day tour with him! Incredibly great value in hiring him as our private guide to take us to this area as having done it by ourselves would have been difficult and not nearly... read more
Moto-san took us to a unique spot to photograph Japan’s famous mountain. What a view,! We saw a lot, met local people, ate beautiful Sushi, ( actually the best we had), and learnt a lot. Thank you so much
Moto-san met us as agreed despite our delays due to Golden Week that were beyond our control. He was very good keeping in touch with us and very thoughtful about our needs. His knowledge of local area around Fuji five lakes was great and he was fantastic at explaining everything to our grandson. If I go back to Japan I will be sure to contact him again.
