Tomomi was very helpful and such a great companion to our family day at Mt Fuji. Very flexible as we had a handicapped father. She adjusted beautifully throughout the day that included her joining us on a fantastic speedboat ride on Lake Fuji. Definitely worth the extra money for a guide and she speaks incredibly great English. She made the trip memorable and even helped my dad which gave us a quick shopping trip break. Couldn’t do that great of a day without her!
Thank you very much for your great comment on the day-tour. The time we spent together was short, but precious for me. I was just happy that I became part of your family and shared some memories your dad had in Japan in his childhood. The highlight of your day-trip must have been a speedboat we rode in Lake Kawaguchiko. You guys all seemed to be thrilled with it and have super fun! It was too exciting for me though.. Hope you all come back to Japan in winter to see a breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji and to enjoy “Onsen” (hot spring) which would be effective for your dad. Arigatou gozaimashita!
Tomomi is a knowledgeable and personable guide who took us for a full day visiting the Aokigahara Forest and surrounding area. She was both responsive to our requests and able to offer suggestions that always were the best option. We hiked several miles in the forest with Tomomi pointing out intriguing natural features. We also visited the Bat Cave and the entrance to the Water Cave. All the locals knew Tomomi which allowed us to see some sights that are usually private. We highly recommend Tomomi if you want a personalized and informative guide and companion while visiting the five lakes region.
Thank you for giving me such a good review, Otak-san. It was a great joy for me to see you all enjoy hiking in the forest and wandering around the craft village. The hike in the forest was a bit longer than scheduled. However, I believe it was worth the time since we were able to get to where your son wanted to visit. I really had fun chatting with you all, sharing lots of topics we were interested in. Although Mt. Fuji was too shy to come out this time, she is always there to welcome your visit again. Hope you come back to find more must-sees!
Tomomi right from our first communication was thoughtful and thorough. We knew that we didn't want to do the mainstream things when we visited the Mt Fuji area. We had a couple of ideas that we shared with Tomomi. She not only got back to us with some suggestions she went the extra mile to provide websites and supporting details to help us make the best selection for us. We booked a full day tour and a private van and again Tomomi took the extra steps of coordinating with our driver to make sure that our day would go smoothly. Yesterday, we spent the day with Tomomi and it was all that we wanted and more, her knowledge of the area, of nature, of Mt Fuji and of the culture were greatly appreciated. Her verbal and written skills are exceptional but what we enjoyed most was her genuin... read more
Thank you so much for your great comments on the day-tour we had. I had a precious time with you all. I felt like I was part of your family as we had something in common, especially nature! Your girls were fascinated with everything they saw and found in the forest. They made me happy since my joy as the guide is to see my guests having fun during the tour. Your family’s deep interest in Japanese culture at Kimono art museum was quite inspiring. It was just fantastic to have matcha green tea in the serene atmosphere, viewing the beautiful Japanese-style garden, wasn’t it? We just spent a day together which was quite short, but will be the unforgettable memory for me. Thank you very much again for sharing your time with me! Hope you come back to the Mt. Fuji are again to see Mt. Fuji near... read more
Tomomi is wonderful! She is very knowledgeable and helpful. She made it very easy to navigate how to get there. Highly recommend booking a tour with Tomomi!
Thank you for giving me a good review, Sara-san. You and your cousins were so cheerful and friendly all the way during the hike that I had a lot of fun with you all. I’m just happy to have showed you around the forest as you had great interest in what you saw and experienced there. Mt. Fuji did not show us her beautiful appearance on that day unfortunately. However, now you have good reason to come back to the Mt. Fuji area again. To see Mt. Fuji!
Our family had a great day with Tomomi San in Mount Fuji area. All of our communication and discussion about our family trip to Mount Fuji went on quite smoothly via email with Tomomi San before the trip actually started. Tomomi San gave me very useful advice on which express bus to take as well as best starting time for our tour. She was so kindly to arrange the itinerary in a way to make our teenage kids feel interesting. Unfortunately, we missed our first bus in Tokyo and arrived in Kawaguchiko bus stop later than our plan, but Tomomi San was so kind to rearrange the schedule, buy the sightseeing bus tickets in advance and do everything to make sure we get the best our of the day though we arrive late. The trip to Bat Cave as well as the short trekking in the "Sea of Tree" Forrest was w... read more
Thank you very much for such a great review, Haｎg-san. Though the tour got shorter than scheduled, I had a precious time with you and your family. Two of your daughters were so adorable and friendly that I enjoyed chatting with them. I felt like they were my daughter’s close friends. I also felt really close to you through the chatting we had.The topics we talked about were various, but all were worth sharing. Thank your again for hiring me as your guide. What you saw and experienced are only a part of the Mt. Fuji area, so hope you come back there again for other must-sees!
