Good guide but was disappointed on the transport pick up and drop off. We asked Eric to pick us up and drop off at hotel. Demanded money for a cab there and back and then asked for additional money to cover. Very unprofessional.
Sorry for causing you to pay extra money I will pay attention about this matter. EricTanaka
Eric was fantastic. From the moment we booked he was super friendly, communicated effectively and made our life super easy. On the tour itself he was very flexible to make sure we covered everything we wanted to, but also added his unique perspective on the beautiful sites of Kyoto. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend anyone to approach him!
Mr Kunal I appreciated your comments to the tour on Dec 31 I am Happy to hear that you enjoyed tour with me Please come to Japan and have a wonderful time. Thanks and regards Eric Tanaka
At the last minute we decided we needed a tour of Kyoto to really get a feel of the city. Eric was great at immediately responding to my inquiry, and agreed at our meeting time and place, which was only a few hours out. His personality is very upbeat and cheerful and his enthusiasm for the job and the sights really shines through. He was great answering all of our questions and showing us off the path spots of interest. At the end of our tour, he not only took the taxi to the train station with us, but helped purchase our train tickets and literally put us on the correct train to make sure there were no mistakes since it were a little nervous. He even changed our train to one that would be more efficient than what we had originally planned. I would highly recommend Eric as a fantastic guid... read more

Eric helped us customize the Kyoto day tour, taking into account our every wish. He is also very knowledgeable, yet friendly and easy-going. Eric helped us to pack so much information, places, experiences and fun in just a few hours, it simply outstanding. We knew from the first minute we made the right choice by selecting Eric.
Hi Ms Veronica Thank you for your comments for the tour. I really enjoyed the tour with you, and fortunately we could move on schedule. Though we have some rain in Osaka stop it has converted to Foggy nihgt at Sky Building. I appreciate your comments and I wish to say "please enjoy another days in Japan" Eric Tanaka
We arranged to take the Kyoto Night Walking tour with Eric to see Gion at night. Eric was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us insight on Kyoto history and culture (then and now). He pointed out interesting details (in the buildings and streets) which made the tour more personal. Besides strolling through the places listed on the tour, we also saw the Kabuki Theater and learned a bit about kabuki. My wife was very appreciative that we were able to stop and buy gifts from a well-known/established Kyoto cloth shop that Eric pointed out. Eric, thank you very much for a memorable tour of Gion area!
Thank you Mr Gerard Family for your comments I am very happy to hear from you that you enjoyed the night tour with me. You are nice family and I wish if you come to Kyoto again Merry Christmas and wishing you A Happy New Year ! Eric Tanaka
