Frequently Asked Questions

A letter from one of my customers to my wife (attendant)

Dear Akiko san,

Thank you very much for the box of assorted sweets made from Kuri. They are delicious & we are enjoying everyone of them. It was mezurashi since we don't grow Kuri here in Hawaii although we do have them in the markets but they are from China or US mainland. Marukai market
roasts & sells them.

It was our pleasure to meet you & as I mentioned in my earlier note, we appreciated your kindness by getting the tickets for the Romantic Train. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

It was nice to have you join us for lunch, too. Only wish we could have spent more time to visit with you.

Akiko, you did a good job making the Spam musubi--Jozu desu ne!
(Hope I spelled it correctly). Spam musubi is very popular & I won't be surprised that many okazuyas will be making them in Japan in the very near future.

Mr. Zumi san really made our trip most memorable with his changing the itinerary according to the weather, which we appreciated. He is such an efficient tour guide & also was an excellent caregiver for Coach Murakami. We will recommend his services to many of our friends.

Domo arigato gozaimasta!

Richard & Althea

“ Zumi is very much on time! ”

When we arrive at Kansai Airport on the 8th of April, Zumi was waiting for us with a placard of my name. He gave us some information on where to go, etc. He's also on time when we are departing on the 16th. He arrived at our apartment at exactly 6am and drove us to Kansai Airport. Thank You, Zumi!

“ Private tour in Kyoto with guide ”

Mr Takehiko aka Zumi-San is an excellent guide. We had arrived in Kyoto to spend our first night at an Airbnb place that was freezing and my whole family was miserable. When Zumi-san arrived to take us on our tour and we lugged all our bags pleading him to take us to another place to check in, he was so very kind and said we could just bring all the luggage throughout the tour as there was ample space in his van. He was patient with my son who was sulking, patient with us when we stopped for photos, offered to take our photo for us at the top sights and explained about the history and culture of Kyoto. He also rushed us to Kiyomizu dera to try and catch an important annual event where the high priest would announce the Kanji character for the year that was. At the end of the tour, he dropped us off at the New Hankyu hotel where he assured us would be positively different from our first lodging. All in all, he made us feel a lot better by the end of the day and we are considering seeing him again for a tour of Osaka next week. Domo arigato gozaimasu, Zumi-san!

Takehiko:
Thank you so much for too much complement . I'm really pleased to read your message about the events occured on that day. The freezing hotel story will remind me you whenever this time of the year appraoches. Take care and go on the rest of a wonderful tour! I wish you would see snow falling and play in the snow . See you again ! Best regards. ZUMI

“ Osaka private day tour (Osaka Castle, Katsuoji Temple, Aqua Liner, Umeda Sky Bldg) ”

Our family usually has a very busy schedule when we travel. Also, we have 4 children including a toddler. Takehiko, or Zumi which he wants to be called, was very helpful and pleasant. Our family had a great and comfortable time.

Takehiko:
Dear,Mic. Thank you for your having had the service and message . It's a great joy to me to gain your compliments. The tour schedule was very tight because of Osaka Marathon, but otherwise we might have not experienced the night scenery of Osaka city. I wish your children a good luck ,why not you and your husband. I'm sure Dharma of Katsuoji Temple will bring you a great amount of good luck. ZUMI

“ Rice cake throwing event ”

Our Travel with Takehiko was so enjoyable. From pick up at our hotel to the sacred mountain of Koyasan to our departure at Shin Osaka station our expert travel guide was pleasant, flexible and accommodating. We even enjoyed a rice cake throwing ceremony as Monks and Koyasan residents thanked their local Gods & Goddess who protect the land and bring a good harvest. You won't regret spending a terrific day with this expert guide.

Takehiko:
Dear,Debera. It's My Pleasure to have your appreciation. Thank you so much again. You were so lucky to meet a ceremony by chance. It's because you usually all have good luck ,though. I wish you a long and happy life . King regards. ZUMI
