“ Excellent tour of Kyoto ”

I had an excellent time in Kyoto being guided by Keiko. Keiko worked closely with me to setup a one day tour of Kyoto. I wanted to see as much as I could in one day and Keiko helped me to do just that. We went to Fushimi Inari, Ryoanji, Kinkakuji, and Nijojo palace plus Keiko was able to add a lunch and a tea ceremony to our busy schedule. During the tour, Keiko explained details and history of each site which were very interesting. Her English is good and communicates well. In addition, in case I hadn't had enough during the tour, Keiko recommended me a place where I can see a Geisha performance. After the tour, Keiko helped me get a taxi to go to the Geisha performance and it was great. I even got to take a picture with a Geisha! In summary, the tour was wonderful. It was a busy day with a lot of walking but I asked for that to begin with and Keiko helped me to get the most out of one day in Kyoto. I highly recommend Keiko for anyone that wants to see Kyoto and learn about the history of each site. Thank you so much Keiko for your services! I hope to one day return to Kyoto again. Arigato!

“ Day trip with Keiko ”

Keiko was a great guide for our one day trip in Kyoto. She took us to a number of sites in Kyoto, catering to our interests and allowing us to make any adjustments to her suggested list. Keiko was very easy to communicate with, both in person and through email leading up to the tour. She was very patient and helpful as we love to take many pictures and would give us interesting facts and info about each spot we visited. We would definitely book a tour with her again for future visits in Kyoto.

“ Path of Philosophy ”

I really enjoyed the tour Keiko organized for me during my recent business trip to Kyoto. We started at Nanzen-ji temple then made our way along the path of philosophy to Ginkaku-ji temple. She surprised me with a last minute trip to Nijo-jo Castle at the end of our tour as I was fascinated by the Shogun. I learned so much in such a short time about the history of Buddhism and Shinto from Keiko; her company and our conversations on religion and language were very enjoyable.

“ Goon with Keiko ”

Our walking tour with Keiko was excellent. Her knowledge of the Gion area was amazing. Keiko was so friendly and shared so many interesting facts about the history we would have missed if we tried to cover the same area on our own. She made us feel relaxed and really special. We spent the day strolling through Gion, visiting a number of temples, markets and a then participated in a traditional tea ceremony. Even luckily enough to see a traditional Japanese wedding! Keiko is highly recommend. Thank you for such an enjoyable day in Kyoto. Kind regards, Pete Williams

“ One day trip in Arashiyama ”

We have had a wonderful time at Arashimaya with Keiko. Her command of English is excellent and easy to understand. We were tired of visiting Shrines and temples and requested a last minute change to the itinerary. Keiko accommodated to our request and changed our trip to a natural focus with river boat rafting as a surprise highlight. Thank you Keiko!
