“ Great Visit in Nara ”

We enjoyed our day in Nara with Kazuhiko. He was very accommodating to meet us at a subway station we were going to be near instead of our hotel. His English is very good as is his knowledge. He is personable and always looked out for our safety with cars, etc. when our tour was over he took the train back with us and made sure we would easily return to our hotel. Also in the weeks before the tour he communicated promptly whenever I had questions.

Kazuhiko:

Dear Mr. Howard I appreciate your feedback. I’m very pleased that your group enjoyed the tour. I had great time as well showing your group around Nara. I sincerely hope this experience was memorable. I think that the huge Buddha statue in Toudaiji temple and deers (messanger of God) in Nara Park will make your group member happy and will surely make your member's dreams come true. I sincerely hope your group visit Japan again and if so I would be glad to guide your group again. Thank you!! Best regards, Kazuhiko Goto

“ Solid two day tour with Kazu ”

We used Kazu for a two day tour of Osaka and Kyoto. Kazu promptly met us at the Four Seasons both mornings before 9am, as promised. He works very hard and literally runs from place to place. We appreciated this as we wanted to see as much as possible in two days. Others may have a hard time keeping up, but he would slow down id you asked. His ability to move through the transit system without even glancing at the maps was very impressive. My only complaint would be that his English skills were only average. He often had a difficult time understanding our questions. His speaking and pronunciation were fine but he sometimes struggled to understand our questions. If you are patient, this shouldn't be a problem, but if you want perfect English, he may not be the best fit. We enjoyed ... read more

Dear Mr.Philip I appreciate your feedback. I’m very pleased that your couple enjoyed the tour. I had great time as well showing your couple around Osak and Kyoto. However, I'm sorry about troubling you because of my poor English ability. I think that I have to improve the ability. Thank you for pointing that out. Moreover, I regret that I could not take you to Umeda Sky Building. If I noticed in advance that the building was closed, I could guide you another suitable spot. I believe that the 3 stones which you found and "spiritual snake" which we found by a lucky chance in Sumiyoshi Shinto Shrine make your couple happy. I sincerely hope this experience was memorable and I sincerely hope you visit Japan again and if so I would be glad to guide you again. I would like ... read more

“ Helpful & knowledgeable tour guide ”

We had a really enjoyable afternoon tour with Kazuhiko in Osaka. Our group consisted of ages from 7 to 86 years, and he was very helpful. We had limited time in Osaka, and Kazuhiko was able to take us to a couple of the key sights in the city, on foot and via subway. It was really easy to communicate with Kazuhiko prior to the tour as well.

Kazuhiko:

Dear Ms.Deb I appreciate your feedback. I’m very pleased that your group enjoyed their tour. I had great time as well showing your group around Osaka. I sincerely hope this experience was memorable. I'm sorry that I made your group walk a lot. I was anxious about physical conditions of some members who went back to the boat early. I sincerely hope you visit Japan again and if so I would be glad to guide you again. Thank you!! Best regards, Kazuhiko Goto

“ Best Guide! Personal service in and around Kyoto ”

With no local language skills and short time to see so much, we are so glad we found Kazu online! Excellent English! On time meeting at our hotel, with personal stories and notes about the chosen sites, the culture difference between temples and shrines and a bit about living in Kyoto. (also pictures on his tablet) Great to get some history and culture ahead and during day (he gave us details before we started and on the trains & busses, not to loos any time) He is so knowledgable and it's obvious he loves his job. With good prior correspondence, he helped us choose between so many wonderful sights (we choose the bigger, busier shrines & temples, further from our hotel where we needed more guidance. we were even able to make a change during our day when we asked about a beautiful Bamboo... read more
