“ Kyoto tour with Toru ”

Toru was waiting for me at the appointed time in the lobby of my Osaka hotel. This was his suggestion as I was storing some luggage there for my return later in the week and he thought I may have trouble finding my Kyoto hotel, so he accompanied me there. We visited most of the prominent Buddha temples, Shinto shrines, Nijo-jo Castle, pagodas, gardens ( the Japanese maples were just turning and the colours were beautiful),bamboo forest, central area of city - Pontocho street, theatres, Gion area, and its geishas. Toru explained well the history of all the places we visited as well as explaining Japanese culture. “ First timers in Japan - Kyoto ”

Have you ever booked something and question if it’s right for you? I’m a big supporter of reviews and reading them prior to booking. From personal experience with Toru. I am more than pleased to say... he’s amazing at what he does. My husband and I had the chance first hand to tour with Toru. He’s very knowledgable and speaks great English. He’s made our trip a memorable one. We plan to visit soon again early next year, and hope to book him for our next visit. I highly recommend Toru if you want to know history and ignore some of the busy streets of Kyoto. He took us through back routes where no one was around making our trip easier. Thank you Toru for teaching us the history of Kyoto.

Thank you very much. Take care, and have a nice trip. I am looking forward to seeing you again next year.

“ Excellent and knowledgeable tour guide ”

My wife and I spend two days with Toru-san touring both Osaka and Kyoto. He was extremely knowledgeable not only on every site that we visited but also very informative regarding the many questions that we had involving Japanese culture and history. My wife mentioned several sourvenirs that she was looking to buy for our children and Toru-san knew the best places to shop and prices to spend. I highly recommend Toru-san for your visits to Osaka, Kyoto or his home in Kobe. Thanks again for making our trip so enjoyable!!!

Thank you very much. I had read good time with you. You are so funny and good people. Please come back again especially spring and autumn. Si many flowers and changing Japanese maple leaf will make you happy. Best regards. Toru
