We had a wonderful time with Rick. He was patient and lead us quickly from one location to the next on our itinerary. He also shared a wonderful sashimi restaurant with us. We would definitely recommend him to others.
Dear Kara, Thank you very much for your nice review! I am so glad that you have enjoyed the tour with me. All of your families are so nice and I also enjoyed talking with your three kids, hasband and mother. I hope you keep the memories in Kyoto and will come back someday in future. Best regards, Rick
We had a wonderful day with Rick: explored all that we had agreed to do and ended up with a Maiko dinner, as he had suggested, which gave us an otherwise unexplored view of Japanese lifestyles and traditions. Strongly recommend his services.
Dear Diego, Thank you very much for your nice review! I am so glad that you had enjoyed the tour and unexplored view of Japan. I had also enjoyed talking with you and your wife on various things with walking through beautiful Gion area just before the sunset. I hope you will come back to Kyoto in future. Best regards, Rick
Rick was an excellent guide, taking us to on his South course, visiting Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kiyomizu temple, Gion Walk and Maiko dinner. Rick is very knowledge and offered to take photos for us which was fantastic. Being a local he was familar with some of the quieter streets in the Gion Walk which were less crowded and pleasant to walk through and observe at a slower pace. The Maiko dinner was fantastic and well worth experiencing as taste of Japanese heritage and traditions. If you are spending a couple of days in Kyoto, we highly recommend using Rick as your tour guide - you will not be disappointed. Thanks for a great day Rick ;o)
Dear Sharon, Thank you very much for your nicest review! I am so glad to hear that you had enjoyed the tour very much. He did a good job of showing us some of the best sights of Kyoto he was knowledgable and very polite. Thanks Rick
Dear Ian, Thank you very much for your heartful review. All of your members were so nice and I also had enjoyed the tour with having conversations with all of you. I hope you keep good memories in Kyoto and come back sometime in future. Best regards Rick
We met Rick at the Fushimi Inari shrine. During our tour of Kyoto, we changed our minds often on what we wanted to do next. Rick was easy to work with, and adapted and attended to all our needs. His knowledge of Kyoto is deep as he was born here and has lived his whole life here. The day we met Rick, the heat in Kyoto was 38 C.... but Rick kept us cool, listening and attending to all our needs...
Dear Elliot, Thank you very much for your nice review! It was my pleasure to have guided you one day in Kyoto. I appreciate your deep interest in Kyoto where is my hometown and I am glad our conversation helped your understanding it. As it continues hot days in Japan, please take care yourself and enjoy the rest your days in Japan. I hope I can help you again in future. Best Regards, Rick
