Keiko creates an itinerary based off your interests, she is incredibly well educated about Kyoto and Japan in general! Her English is great, and she is so helpful and accomodating to any of your needs. Keiko is also upfront about any costs (for us it was paying for temple entrances) before continuing. She is also quick to respond to any messages prior to the booking. Our group loved her, such a wonderful tour guide!!
Dear Amanda, I hope you all have been well. I really appreciate your message on our bike tour. We made it to the smaller and quieter temples away from the center of Arashiyama where it takes long by walk. I was so glad to see that you were enjoying the day. We also had nice Japanese food for lunch. If you ever come back to Kyoto, I would recommend the Monkey Mountain next time. And I enjoyed talking with you about Arashi. Every time I see them on TV, I remember you. Well, thank you so much again for taking part in my bike tour. I offer my very best wishes to you all and look forward to seeing you sometime again in Kyoto. Best regards, Keiko
Keiko was punctual and extremely knowledgable about her local area and surrounds. She spoke Englsh very well which helped out understanding of the local culture. Overall we had an extremely enjoyable day with Keiko including us being taken to one of her favourite restaurants for lunch. We would highly recommend Keiko as a guide for those looking at day tours of the Kyoto district.
Dear Neil, Thank you for your kind words. Although it was a half-day tour, we made it to Gion, Zen temple, Fushimi Inari Shrine and Nijo Castle including nice lunch. You were so kind and gentle that I also had a great time. I really hope my tour will be your good memory of Kyoto. And I appreciate giving me the information about Australia. I learned a lot from you as well. Lastly, thank you so much for choosing me as your guide in Kyoto and taking part in my tour. I offer my very best wishes to you and your family. Best regards, Keiko
Our family of three only had 2 days in Kyoto so we wanted help hitting as many highlights as possible. Keiko grew up in Kyoto and knows it inside and out. She and I went through possible itineraries before our arrival so she had a great itinerary for both of our days and we covered a ton of ground. We also had 2 great lunches with her, which was lovely. She knew the history of every temple and shrine, and helped us understand the Maiko (Gaiko/Geisha) culture and history. Keiko is warm and friendly and so sweet! We are so happy we got to meet her!
Dear Karen, I am very happy to hear from you. When you asked me which area would be good to stay, I recommended Gion area because of the traditional atmosphere. And you enjoyed your stay there. That made me happy and relieved. Even though it was very hot those days, we visited a lit of sites including temples and shrines, I really enjoyed them with you too. I hope your daughter also had fun at Ghibli shop and the monkey park! If you ever come back to Kyoto, I will definitely bring my daughters to see her. So I look forward to seeing you sometime again. Lastly, thank you very much for coming to Kyoto and participating in my tour. I offer my very best wishes to you and your family. Arigatou!! Best regards, Keiko
I had an excellent time in Kyoto being guided by Keiko. Keiko worked closely with me to setup a one day tour of Kyoto. I wanted to see as much as I could in one day and Keiko helped me to do just that. We went to Fushimi Inari, Ryoanji, Kinkakuji, and Nijojo palace plus Keiko was able to add a lunch and a tea ceremony to our busy schedule. During the tour, Keiko explained details and history of each site which were very interesting. Her English is good and communicates well. In addition, in case I hadn't had enough during the tour, Keiko recommended me a place where I can see a Geisha performance. After the tour, Keiko helped me get a taxi to go to the Geisha performance and it was great. I even got to take a picture with a Geisha! In summary, the tour was wonderful. It was a bus... read more
Dear Luis, I am very glad you had fun in Kyoto. That was a hot and busy day, but we could see and visit a lot of sites. I also enjoyed the tea ceremony with you at the end of the tour. About the Geisha performance, I am relieved to hear that you did not miss it and could take a picture with her. There are still a lot of beautiful sites in Kyoto so I hope you would come back sometime again. And I look forward to that day! Lastly, thank you very much for taking part in my tour and I offer my very best wishes to you and your family. Arigato! Best regards, Keiko
Keiko was a great guide for our one day trip in Kyoto. She took us to a number of sites in Kyoto, catering to our interests and allowing us to make any adjustments to her suggested list. Keiko was very easy to communicate with, both in person and through email leading up to the tour. She was very patient and helpful as we love to take many pictures and would give us interesting facts and info about each spot we visited. We would definitely book a tour with her again for future visits in Kyoto.
Dear Arthur, I am very glad you had fun in Kyoto. I really wanted to be your help since you took the trouble to incorporate Kyoto into your trip mainly in Tokyo. I was very happy to hear that you liked Kyoto and would come back sometime again. There are still a lot of beautiful and traditional sites here, so I am looking forward to showing you around sometime again. Lastly thank you very much for taking part in my tour. I offer my very best wishes to the two of you! Best regards, Keiko
