Eric was very organised and knowledgable about all the temples and shrines that we visited. Knew how to move around the city very easily and just made it all easy. I would definitely recommend seeing the sights with Eric!!
Mr Michael I am very happy to hear from you that you enjoyed tour in Kyoto with me Please come to Kyoto again with your friend Thank you for comments !, Eric Tanaka
We had planned to stay 4 days of our 9 day stay in Japan but Typhoon Hagibis put paid to that. Our flights got cancelled 3 days in a row which meant we ended up going to Tokyo directly. I was determined to do at least a day trip to Kyoto even if it meant travelling 2 hrs 40 mins each way on the bullet train. This left us about 8 hours in Kyoto and Eric planned it brilliantly for us He met us at Kyoto station and took us directly by train to Arashiyama and then Kinkakuji temple. Eric took care of buying the entrance tickets everywhere for us (we had given him money for this as soon as we met him) and ensured a smooth experience everywhere! We ended the trip in Gion and the Kodaiji shrine - and also did Fushimi Inari in between. My friends told me they spent 3 days doing all this at leas... read more
Hi Mrs. Antika Thank you for your comments and I am happy to hear from that you enjoyed Kyoto with me. It is lucky that we have visited 5 places in 7.5 hours . On starting we caught a train and seated just 3 minutes in advance , and at last place, Yasaka we arrived there at the twilight time and enjoyed shopping there. Please come to Kyoto again. 1600 temples and 300 shrines are located in Kyoto. Eric Tanaka
Eric took us for the 9 hour supertour of some of the key highlights of Kyoto. We covered the Golden Temple, the Bamboo Forest, Nijo Castle, the Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Higashikujomuromachi-Honganji temple, Gino and the Yasaka Pagoda. It was an excellent day and Eric was knowledgeable, warm and friendly as well as extremely flexible. He did a great job and we were very happy.
Hi Mr John Thank you for comments for the tour I am much surprised at powerful and nice AG persons I am happy to visit Yasaka pagoda and Kiyomizuzaka area just on time with you Please enjoy Oita too Eric Tanaka
We had heard about Gion and wanted to visit. As I am mobility impaired we decided the grouo tour was not an option as I cannot always keep up with the group and therefore miss some of the infomation. The tour we selected allowed personalisation and to be tailored to my pace. Eric was informative being a Kyoto native and took us to places that we probably wouldn't have seen let alone known about. Gion is a maze of small streets and without a knowledgable guide it would be easy to get lost. We also invited Eric to join us for dinner afterwards and his recommendation was excellent. He gave us an insight into the history of the area as well us showing us many places in the 1.5 hours of the tour.
We had a half day your with Eric in Kyoto. He meet us promptly at the station as planned and was very well prepared with background info on Japan history and culture relevant to what we were going to see. Eric led us to two temples and a shrine very efficiently with lots of insightful info. It was a great tour.
Ms Diane Thank you for your comments I am very happy to hear from you that you enjoyed Nara tour Please enjoy Japan Eric Tanaka
