“ A great day of gardens and food ”

We asked Katsuko to design a tour focusing on both major and lesser-known gardens in Kyoto, and she put together a great day for us. She also guided us through the Kyoto market and gave us great culinary information. Highly recommended.

Katsuko:

Dear Matt, Thank you very much for your kind review. I'm glad to know that you enjoyed the tour. I also enjoyed the day with you visiting the gardens. I hope to see you again in the future. Best wishes, Katsuko Ozaki

“ A fun education ”

Katsuko arranged a wonderful first day in Kyoto for us. She helped us understand the temples, shrines, local neighborhoods, and the Nishiki food market. Thanks to her we are on strong footing for the rest of our visit. She was very informative of the history of each place we visited. She also designed a route that lead from one place to another seamlessly. She did it all with a smile and a great sense of humor.

Katsuko:

Dear Jeri, Thank you very much for your kind review. It was so nice meeting you and I really enjoyed the time with you, especially the fun conversation with you during the tour. I hope you'll enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan, and hope to see you again some time in the future. Best Wishes, Katsuko Ozaki

“ Lovely day exploring Kyoto ”

We had a wonderful half day with Katsuko exploring beautiful Kyoto. We visited so many beautiful places and Katsuko explained their significance in Japanese culture. We learned many new things throughout the day. Katsuko was kind and patient with our children and found interesting things for them to see. She helped us with many suggestions for our time in Kyoto.

Katsuko:

“ What a nice guide! ”

Katsuko is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and and flexible. I had a really nice day with her when we first had a ikebana lesson at WAK Japan and after that we went to Arashiyama. But the most memorable experience was to view the bonfires at the rooftop. Katsuko managed to book us a special dinner plan to view Gozan-no-Okuribi at the Kyoto Heian Hotel which I think to be one of the best places to look at them. I really appreciate that she was willing to spend this special evening with me. Thank you Katsuko.

Katsuko:

Dear Riitta, Thank you very much for your kind review. It was so nice meeting you and I really enjoyed the day with you. The time I spent with you viewing the bonfires is such a precious memory that I will never forget. I heartily hope to see you again sometime in the future. Warmest regards, Katsuko Ozaki
