Overview

Do you know the world biggest bridge? It is "Akashi Kaikyo Bridge" spanning the Akashi Strait and has 3911 meters length. It is located about 50 km west from Osaka. The main tower is tall at about 300 meters above sea level. The view from city side or the ship provides a panoramic picture that includes the sea, sky and bridge. you can also enjoy fresh sea food at the fish market.

What to Expect

We take the express bus from Sannomiya, down town of Kobe and can drive across the world biggest "Akashi Kaikyo" Bridge to Awaji Yume Butai on Awaji Island. From the bridge, we can enjoy breathtaking panoramic view of Osaka bay and Setouchi Inland sea.
Awaji Yumebutai is a complex of conference center and hotel. It was designed by Tadao Ando, Japanese famous architect. The hotel is operated by as the Westin Awaji Island Resort. On the return trip from Awaji Island, we will take small ferry boat by passing under the bridge and can enjoy spectacular view of the huge suspension bridge.
At uo-no-tana fish market, you can try to taste fresh sea food and "Akashiyaki" ball shaped octopus omelette.

“ First class in photography ”

We had a good trip under the guidance of Koichi San. Brought us for a delicious sushi and noodle lunch, one of the best we had. Koichi is definitely a trained photographer, taking beautiful photos of people and sceneries at different angles. Koichi San is very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good guide.

“ One Day Kyoto from Osaka Cruise Port ”

Koichi arrived on time and waited for us right at the entrance of the port terminal. He tried his best to show us all the visiting sites in Kyoto in the short time we were there. His car was too small for a group of 6 persons and we had some problems in communications as we don't speak Japanese and English is not our native language. Anyway, at the end we returned to the port on time.

Koichi:

Thank you for sending me such a good review in spite of the very busy travel!! I'm afraid that the tour duration was a little bit too short for the return trip to Kyoto from Osaka port. Well, I think it's difficult for me to buy a new big van, but I would like to do my best to make your trip more enjoyable next time too. Koichi

“ Amazing kyoto guide ”

When we initially met Koichi, he was just a guide. By the time we left Kyoto, he was a family member. Koichi is a kind, generous, and hospitable man who sees guiding as his calling. He met us at Ippudo and then we toured Western Kyoto (Arashiyama bamboo forest, monkey park, and boating on the Hozugawa river). I was struck by his genuine kindness. For example, when I mentioned I was afraid to feed the monkeys in Arashiyama, he bought apples himself and coaxed me to do so because he didn't want me to miss out on the experience. That night, he ate dinner with us in Gion at an okinomiyaki restaurant. He goes out of his way to make others comfortable and truly sees himself as an ambassador of his country. I was traveling with my father and husband and all 3 of us had infinite praise for... read more

Koichi:

Hi! Divya san! Thank you very much for giving me such a wonderful review. I really appreciate you for taking time from your precious time and writing me such a good and kind reference. I am glad that I could share happy days in Kyoto, with you , your handsome husband, and gentle father. I really hope to see you again with your family members. By the way, Shall we eat "Daigaku-Imo" (= University Sweet Potato) once more at Fushimi Inari??? Koichi

“ Kyoto and Osaka ”

My wife and I had a great time in Kyoto and Osaka. We booked three tours in different cities through triplelights and all of them were great, but Koichi was the best. Both days were jam packed and we changed around the itineraries several times and Koichi was very flexible.
