Kobe come to a vital life again from intense earthquake that hit on Jan 17, 1995. Kobe always creates us a resplendent, exotic mood that the cosmopolitan city has. The old foreign settlement where sophisticated modern architecture still remains upper town must be the reason to ferment that atmosphere. At Meriken Wharf, you can hear the whistles of ships and touch cultural history in this city.

What to Expect

Visit the old foreign settlement and you can understand why Kobe is called cosmopolitan city. At Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden, here for sure, you will find best places for romantic chats in ropeway cabin or walks whichever you prefer and spend unforgettable time with full of 75,000 herb flowers.

Nankin-machi (China town) is always full of gourmet people. Kobe beef is also on the menu even at a hole in the wall restaurant, never let them down.

At Meriken Park, some attractions are romantic cruises that last 60 minutes. You can also admire beautiful panorama view of Kobe harbor from Kobe Port Tower or restaurant, art craft shop complex named Umie MOSAIC. Breath-taking sunset view is what makes this place so romantic

“ Nara, Japan tour ”

We had a wonderful experience in our tour of Nara, Japan with Masahisa. There were four of us in our group and Masahisa considered the interests of each of us. Masahisa led us from our hotel in Kyoto to the town of Nara and then back to our hotel. We initially experienced the shopping district and had lunch in Nara and then proceeded to the monumental Buddhist and Shinto temple complex and grounds established around the 6th and 7th century AD. Masahisa has a wealth of knowledge, sharing the rich Japanese culture and highlighting the history of Buddhism and Shintoism in Nara. This was a fabulous experience, a memory for a lifetime and we owe a great deal of gratitude to Masahisa for sharing his time with us.

Masahisa:

Mark Great to hear from you again. How about vegan's cuisine at Temple Lodging in Mt Koya. Wish you all safe return home with great memories here. Thanks Masahisa

“ Amazing, before and afer! ”

I had a group of 18 inquisitive college students. Mike was a terrific guide. He will take care of you before, during and after the tour. He is very knowledgeable and lovely. He insisted on taking us to the car on the platform for our train, for example; took tons of group pictures and sent them to us afterward. We had originally planned on two days with Mike, and he helped as we had to reorganize our travel because of a typhoon. He was gracious and flexible, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide.

Masahisa:

Ms Kathleen It's me to thank for giving me an opportunity to guide a party who traveled all the way from city I lived and also I loved. I wish I could meet each of college student, full fledged as a journalist here in Japan sometime again. Best regards also to Prof. Thanks / Makino

“ Nara Visit ”

Mike was a very good tour guide. He had a lot of information to share with us about Nara. He was very pleasant to spend the day with.Nara Park had hundreds of deer walking around and that was very interesting to see them going up to people who would then feed them. There was a lot of walking on our tour but we did not want to miss anything of interest. Mike controlled our pace and made the trip very interesting.

Masahisa:

Ms Lynn Thank you again for your visit all the way to Nara and wish you all safe return home, hopefully with great memories in Japan. There are a lot more we want to show you here in Japan and I am looking forward to meeting you all again here. Thanks again. Masahisa Makino

“ Very professional and goes beyond what is expected ”

From the day I booked Masahisa (Mike) he has been emailing me about the itinerary and helping me with restaurant choices, even our transportation to Koyasan. He has given me so much information that I feel I have underpaid him! Although I only booked him for 8 hours, he stayed with us until 7pm and brought us back to out hotel. He was very professional and I will not hesitate to book him again for my future tours.

Masahisa:

Ms Patricia Glad to know your safe return home, hopefully with great memories here. Thank you for your recent group tour with me, which I also enjoyed a lot. Looking forward to meeting you all sometime again. Thanks Makino
