Hi-light of this tour
1. Sankei-En garden
This garden was originally build by a very successful silk business man as his own house. However after he built it, he opened most of
places for public and now it is owned by Yokohama city. Uniquness of this garden is many buildings were moved from other area in
Japan including Kyoto. Therefore garden was built about 100 years ago while some buildings are 400 years old. Therefore you can feel
traditional Japan in Yokohama.
2. Minato-Mirai area
This area is newly developed one and a lot of offices and shopping malls locate. But there are Yokohama art museum, Mitsubishi Minatomirai Industrial museum
and the tallest building in Yokohama called Landmark tower. In front of Landmark tower, Yokohama port museum and Sail training ship NIppon-maru are.
3. Aka-Renga ( Old storage warehouse) area
This area was renovated from bonded warehouse to shopping and restaurant building. A lot of events are taken place from time to time. If you are lucky, you can
enjoy unexpected activity.
4. Big pier area
There is one of the biggest in Japan cruise ship terminal pier. Top of this pier is covered by lawn and in sunny day, you can enjoy nice view of cruise ship and
nice view of port of Yokohama
5. Yamashita park/ Hikawa-maru
This park locates along with Yokohama-bay. it about half mile long. In spring and autumn, rose season, city of Yokohama conducts rose contest and everybody
can enjoy it. In other seasons, always flowers welcome visitors. This is the place people can relax and feel Yokohama as a harbor town.
Hikawa-maru locates at south-end of Yamashita-park. It is a ship and used to traveled between Japan and US. Now it is opened as a museum relating to ships.
6. Kannai area
In this area, there are many historical buildings and museums. Most of the buildings are still in use. Customers can touch feeling of old
Yokohama and lear it at museums.
7. China town
This section is always crowded by visitors. There are many Chinese restaurants and souvenir shops. Recently a famous Sushi restaurant
You can enjoy mainly Chinese cuisine. Price is various; from $8 to $100/ person.
8. Yamate and Motomachi area
At Yamate area, there are many old residential houses. Customer may feel as if he was in small town of United state back to 19th century.
Motomachi is a fashionable shopping area which also has 19th century atmosphere. It is not a big shopping mall and small size stores are along a street .
Also, St. Patrick's day parade and halloween parade is take place every year.

Hiroshi was an excellent guide. We took tours of the history museum of Edo/Tokyo and we were very impressed with his depth of knowledge and his insight. We also visited some local temples and the famous fish market. He continued his high level of teaching and have very useful insights into the culture as well. His English was also exemplary.
Dear Brannon Thank you very much for writing an excellent review of my tour. It was very enjoyable tour with your family. Unfortunately Sumo practice was not able to see but taking pictures with Sumo wrestler will be unforgettable memory for James. I would like to express my gratitude for listening my talk very sincerely during the tour. I hope memory of this tour will be shared with your family and friends and more people may come to Japan to become fan of Japan. Thank you very much to choose me as your guide and have a good flight back to your home. Best regards Hiroshi
Although I had an initial problem meeting Hiroshi, he was worth the problem. Hiroshi was extremely knowledgeable about Yokohama in general and Japanese society and culture in particular. He was most willing to adapt the schedule to accommodate my requests about places to visit. I really enjoyed our lunch in Chinatown

What an incredible day we had with Hiroshi. From the moment we met him at our hotel we felt very relaxed and comfortable with him. He took us to all the places we wanted to go and he also took us to some special shops that we would never have known to visit. His knowledge of everything is amazing and it was such a wonderful day. Wish we could hire him everyday to walk around with us 😀. Hiroshi is the best tour guide if you have small children as he’s very patient and very friendly. He has been so helpful in planning our whole trip to Japan and I will be telling all my family and friends to book a tour with him!!! 5 star experience with Hiroshi. Thankyou so much.

We spent three fantastic days with Hiroshi exploring contemporary and traditional Japanese culture and visiting Hakone. He was a well informed, interesting and engaging guide who was happy to answer all our random questions about life in Japan. Hiroshi was very organised and made sure that we saw lots of different places in the days we spent with him. He was also invaluable in the run up to the trip, giving us advice on money, travel arrangements and places to visit. I would wholeheartedly recommend Hiroshi as a guide.
Dear Sarah Thank you very much for your great review. I am very happy to find you spent good time with me. It was my first time to have a kid as my customer. The happiest thing for me was to see Pat's smile in any places. I hope my guiding supported him to know about Japan as well as you. Please make another chance to visit Japan and to meet again.
