Kamakura is an ancient city popular as a tourist destination an hour's train ride south of Tokyo. As it was a political capital during the Kamakura Period (1185-1333), there remain lots of historical shrines and temples. This tour is customizable. What to Expect
[Sample itinerary] After meeting at the hotel lobby, we move to Kamakura. We will first visit the famous Great Buddha of Kamakura and Hase Temple, then enjoy strolling Komachi where lots of interesting souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants stand, and end up with the visit to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine founded by the old Shogun of the Kamakura period.
- Please note the price only includes guiding fee, and does not include your food and drink, transportation, admission fees and any other activity fees.
- Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes - there are many steps and slopes in Kamakura.
- If you have, please bring "Japan Railway Pass", which will reduce your transportation cost.
