Six of us had Mr Mitsuru guide us in Kamakura. It was a lovely day. We used trains and walked a lot. He managed to please us all with visits to examples of various temples. Each one different and each offering something different. He was also funny and informative. Thank you Mack.
HI Roline. Thank you so much for your kind review. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed my tour. However I regret I should have slow down a bit and provide more time for recess. I hope I can see you again some time in future. Best Regards Mark.
Mark was a great guide very knowledgeable and tailored the 2 day program to our interests. Extremely professional thank you mark
What a great pleasure I had spending 2 days with you! I'm happy to hear you liked my tour. Thank you so much for giving wonderful days and I hope some day we can get together again. Mark
Mitsuru (Mark) took my wife and I to see Nikko. I hired a guide as I knew there would be multiple trains to catch, long distances to travel and walk, and I didn't want to stress over navigating train stations and locations. Mitsuru was perfect for us, personable, happy, informative, and thoughtful. He knew the area very well and kept us well informed on everything we saw, and with cultural traditions and practices. His English was excellent and we had a very fun trip with him. He even led us to a good set of restaurants to choose from when he dropped us off near our hotel. We would definitely hire him again if we return to Tokyo, he was not just a guide, he became a good friend that can be relied upon.
Thank you very much for the such a wonderful review. I have done many ICHIGO-ICHIE before as a guide, but the time I have spent with you is definitely one of the most precious one. I hope someday in near future, we can get together again. ARIGATO. Mark.
My daughter and I spent an 8-hour day tour to Kamakura from Tokyo. Mitsuru (Mark) was very punctual and he was already waiting for us at our designated meeting time at our hotel lobby. He led us to the subway station and then change to the train to Kamakura. Our day turned out to be sunny and warm and we hit all the highlights that Mitsuru has outlined for us. Because we were moving around efficiently, he was able to include an extra highlight in our tour. His English was very good. I have already given his card to my sister-in-law who may be thinking of visiting Tokyo in the near future.
Thank you so much for your so kind review. I was so happy myself too that I was able to show you some extra. But let me make some correction. I'm not punctual at all. I'm rather a lazy guide. I hope you're having great days. See you some time again.
Mitsuru/Mark is an excellent guide. He listened to what we were interested in, got us sorted with metro cards for our kids (worth his help for that alone!), taught us how to easily use the metro, and put a great tour plan together for us. He is full of knowledge about the history and significance of the places he showed us, and he set us up with ideas and options for our other days in Tokyo. He is also very kind and friendly. I highly recommend!
Thank you so much for the wonderful review. I hope you're enjoying the rest of the stays. You have great sons. Their ages are about the same as mine when I left US . They remind me of my good friends then. Thank you!
