We walk around the city, dropping in at popular spots, hidden sites, and neat shops on the main and back streets - like locals do.

Aki was a great guide. He took us to all the places we were interested in and was flexible in his plans given our interests and needs. He clearly knew his way around the island and all the museums. Couldn't have asked for more.

“ Naoshima Island ”

From Osaka, with Aki guiding us, we arrived on Naoshima. If it weren’t for Aki I’m afraid we’d still be wandering aimlessly around. While on the island; Aki’s knowledge of the architect represented here and the designers/artists was great. With his guidance we could just follow as had clear understanding Of how to navigate the island. This provided a pleasureable day. As I got a sense of his services and then began arranging the itinerary, Aki was incredibly quick in his responses to my many online questions. He speaks English very well. One can’t go wrong with Aki’s guidance

Aki:

I also enjoyed touring and had a pleasant time with you. It was very nice to meet you! I hope you have a good day and go back to your home safely. Please convey my regards to your husband and friends. Thanks for coming to Naoshima and choosing me as your tour guide! Sincerely, Aki

“ An unusual, beautiful day touring Naoshima ”

Naoshima was a lovely day-trip destination from our port in Takamatsu. Our guide, Aki, arranged for a high speed boat for our 6-member group to travel to and from the island, which was a bracing trip and a great way to go (faster and less crowded than the ferry). We had a lovely day looking at modern art on the island, including the spectacular and very unusual Chichu art museum. Aki was very pleasant, full of information, was easy to understand (his diction is excellent), and knew how to negotiate the island in the most efficient fashion. He helped us order delicious Udon noodles for lunch (the area's famous for them), and was happy to talk about any topic we raised. A lovely, special day.

Aki:

Dear Nancy, Thank you so much for giving me such an excellent review! That’s very kind of you to say. I’m very happy to hear that you enjoyed the trip to Naoshima. It was really a beautiful day. I also enjoyed touring and had a wonderful time with you, your husband, and your friends. Thanks for coming to Takamatsu and Naoshima! Sincerely, Aki

“ First class ”

Aki took us on a one day trip to Kamakura, it was a very busy day there but he negotiated the viewings and travel to give us as little inconvenience as possible. He was informative and spoke very good English. One comment we were constantly paying for different temples etc it would be much easier if we could be told in advance and the money could be included in the sum paid to Triple Lights

Aki:

Dear Richard, Thank you so much for giving me such an excellent review! It was my pleasure to have guided you. Although it was a very busy day, I hope you enjoyed a day in Kamakura. And thank you for your feedback on paying the entrance fees. I will consider it and improve my tour. Anyway, thanks for coming to Kamakura and choosing me as your guide! Please convey my regards to your wife. Have a nice weekend. Sincerely, Aki
