This tour covers my favorite places in northern Ibaraki prefecture and sourthen Fukushima prefecture. Little known to even Japanese except that Kita-Ibaraki and Iwaki area was heavily damaged by the East Japan great earthquake, but this coastal area is a quiet and wonderful place, and the beautiful shoreline and the mild climate have been loved by many famous artists such as Tenshin Okakura.
