Nobu is an amazing guide who knows how to navigate the ways. We went around Tokyo City for a day and another one was spent at Sendai. He knew of the places and history, so we were made aware of the stories behind a particular building/area etc. We had a 4 year old active child and must compliment that Nobu was very patient with her. Thank you for all your help, Nobu!
Thank you very much for your review, Rini. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour in Tokyo and Sendai. There are many other good places to visit in Japan. I do hope you will come to Japan and meet me again. Nobu
Nobu was a very knowledgeable guide, he drew up the itinerary and we visited a number of sites of historic, cultural interest both by foot ant train. He went at a good pace and always explained the significance of what we were seeing and also put things into todays context. Overall an excellent tour.
Thank you very much for your review, Mark. It is my great pleasure to know that you enjoyed the tour. I would also like you to visit countryside for the next chance to come to Japan. You may feel good old days in Japan there. I hope to meet you again in the future. Nobu
The family thanks Nobu for a memorable experience through the Chiba Prefecture. To witness the Prefecture's resiliency after Typhoon Faxai was encouraging. Nobu made adjustments due to some establishments were still closed due to the typhoon, but was able to provide the family with the key points that we had discussed, and verified in advance that those sites were still accessible. He also shared one of his favorite locations. We understand why it can be a favorite get-away. We also wish to acknowledge that he did all of the driving, shared a delicious lunch, and provided us with an awesome sunset with Mt. Fuji.
Thank you very much for your review, Daniel! It is my great pleasure if you and your family enjoyed the Chiba Tour. There are many attractive places in Chiba, but not many people know about them. We were also lucky enough to see a magnificent view of the sunset with Mt. Fuji. Thank you again for spending your time with me. Nobu
Great day with Nobu... we had a larger group that always presents challenges with interests in the tour as well as problems with ticket purchases etc... none of these was an issue for Nobu and we had a great day... even when we decided at short notice to change the tour he handled these easily...Highly Recommended tour guide !
Thank you very much for your review, Col. Since you and your group were cooperative and friendly, I did not have any difficulty during the tour. Hoping to guide you again in a pleasant Climate. Nobu
My partner and I spent the morning/early afternoon exploring the Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel, aka Kasukabe Underground Flood Protection Tank, aka G-Cans. As foreign visitors who don't speak Japanese fluently, we needed a Japanese speaking guide who could interpret for us (presumably for safety reasons). We found Nobu via the TripleLights website and he was excellent. Nobu met us promptly at 0900 at our hotel lobby (Hilton Tokyo in Shinjuku). From there, he guided us through the 2 hour journey (2 trains and a bus ride) from Shinjuku to Kasukabe in Saitama prefecture. He was very courteous and knowledgeable and was an excellent translator during the hour long tour of the facility. We could not have asked for a better guide! We will definitely recommend him to... read more
Thank you very much for your review, Jeff. It is my great pleasure if you were satisfied with my guiding and translation. I think this facility would be an interesting place especially for repeated Visitors to Japan who get bored with typical Sightseeing spots. This tour would also be helpful to understand Japan. It is appreciated if you introduce it to your friends who are planning to visit Japan. Best regards, Nobu
