Visit the most famous and beautiful castle of Japan - Himeji Castle with 400 years of histoty
In the afternoon, we'll visit Kobe, known as a cosmopolitan city located between the Rokko Mountain Range and Kobe Harbor, attracting many tourists with its amazing night view. You can choose to enjoy the view from the mountain, harbor or both sides.

What to Expect

You will visit Himeji Castle first and then have a casual local lunch there.
On the way back to Osaka/Kyoto, you'll stroll around in Kobe where you can feel an exotic old town atmosphere and enjoy the city view from Nunobiki Herb Garden while walking thru the beautiful garden park.
We will also visit the new and popular "BE KOBE" monument with others on the way to Harborland.
Harborland is known as the best spot for Kobe harbor night view with a street of various types of restaurants and few shopping malls. I recommend having a nice dinner such as Kobe beef in this area after the tour.
With additional hours, you can also choose to enjoy Hanshin Tigers baseball game at Koshien stadium - which could be most entertaining experience for you in Japan with the fans known as most exciting and energetic of all the 12 professional teams in Japan. (only during the baseball season)

This is a good tour for those who got "templed-out" in Kyoto and traveling long enough in Japan to see more modern side of Japan : )

“ Unforgettable Experience in Osaka, Kyoto and Nara! ”

Seiko meaning Holy Child. She’s cheerful, active, resourceful and very knowledgeable of Japan’s hidden gems. If you’re looking for the best experience in Japan then look no further than with Seiko. Seiko will help you find the beautiful unknown parts of Japan! If you want a tour that doesn’t have a lot of other tourists around then Seiko is the right tour guide for you. We had given her a list of activities that we wanted to do prior to our visit but she also made her own suggestions which we agreed on, her suggestions became the highlights of our trip. The next time we visit I think we’ll just let her decide because we really loved the places she took us to. We would not have known about those spots and restaurants if not for her. Two of my friends had already asked me for her conta... read more

“ Kyoto highlight ”

Seiko was a last minute replacement guide but was superb - very knowledgable, caring and spoke fluent English We had a wonderful day in Kyoto with her and enjoyed the sights of the Old Capitol + the market & Geisha area. We would not have seen as much without her - thank you Seiko

Thank you Bernie & Rosemary! It was a nice surprise to have a chance to guide you in Kyoto. I'm glad to hear you had a wonderful day, and certainly the long train ride was worthwhile! Pizza lunch was another surprise but shifted us into high gear thanks to a glass of wine! Thanks again and hope you continue a memorable journey. Seiko

“ Kyoto, without the hustle ”

What a great way to start a holiday in Kyoto! Seiko showed us some beautiful sights and gave us so much information about their history and cultural significance. After planning our initial tour with her, she was very responsive to our late requests for changes which demonstrated her understanding of our needs. After visiting Tokyo for a week we were trying to get away from the crowds and Seiko suggested a visit to Uji, including a tea ceremony, followed by an early evening visit to the Fushimi Inari shrine which allowed us to experience these wonderful places calmly. She is very friendly, easy to talk to and has excellent English skills. Thanks so much from Phil and Linda.

Thank you Phili and Linda!! I'm glad you liked Uji for a change as it's also one of my favorite areas in Kyoto. I hope it helped you get to know Kyoto on your first day, and you could explore the city and surrounding area at your pace on the following days in Kyoto. I also enjoyed hearing about Australia and your travel experience, and love the picture with Linda by Uji bridge in the sunset! Thanks again for the memorable day:) Seiko

“ Very friendly and knowledgeable. ”

Seiko was especially friendly and heartwarming and we enjoyed spending time with her in Kyoto. She explained everything we asked her and was very knowledgeable about Japan’s history, culture and customs. We can definitely recommend her as an excellent guide.

Thank you Damir!! I just laughed so much that day!! Such a fun day with you all so that I almost forgot I was on duty.... hahaha! Sorry about all the food traps too. Hope you didn't miss the ship's departure and had more fun days at each port of call. Please send my regards to Elena, Kevin and June as well! Seiko

“ Amazing Day in Kyoto! ”

Seiko is an excellent tour guide who showed us the amazing sights in Kyoto. She carefully planned out our day taking into consideration our needs and requests. We enjoyed a fantastic mini-kaiseki lunch in the most beautiful part of Kyoto. Seiko speaks excellent English and is extremely knowledgeable. We will be recommending her to our friends and family.

Thank you for the amazing day too, Elise! I'm so honored to have been part of your birthday celebration! I really appreciated that you always asked me how to be polite and proper in Japanese customs and tried anything offered in the truly authentic Japanese lunch, which might have been sometimes challenging... :) On top of that, you guys liked walking everywhere!! Hope you, your sister and Vivi chan enjoyed the day and the whole experience in Japan! Seiko
