The possibility of viewing Mt.Fuji in summer is below 20% and there is no snow cap on it. Not available on Mondays.

Please ask me the availability of this tour before you book it.

(Oct. 25th, 2019) Due to the aftermath of Typhoon 19th, the mountain train will be suspended until next year which is substituted by a bus. Options D, E and Special#6 are not available, now.
(Oct. 25th, 2019) The Owakudani Ropeway is available, but we are not allowed to walk outside of the Owakudani station due to potential possibility of small eruption. The other ropeway to Mt. Koma to view Mt. Fuji is operating but you have to take my special optionl#1 to visit there.
1. View of Mt. Fuji; The possibility of viewing Mt Fuji depends on the season, more than 60% in winter while less than 10% in summer. But there are other interesting places in Hakone such as cruising Lake Ashi and Open Air Museum.
2. Transportations; I usually take public transportations but I can arrange a chartered taxi from Odawara if you want. It will cost about 40,000 JPY per five hours up to 4 persons including me.
3. Congestion of transportations; Hakone will be very crowded during the first week of May (Golden week holidays) and weekend days of November (Autumn color season). But I will choose the most efficient and comfortable way.
4. Suspension of the Ropeway; The ropeway to Owakudani is sometimes closed when the sulfur gas concentration of the area exceeds 0.2ppm or during severe weather conditions. In the case of suspension, I would recommend you to visit the Venetian Glass Museum by a bus. read more

“ Hakone region Nature guide not necessary ”

The weather was unpredictable but we would, as a result, have appreciated the guide to have been more flexible and client responsive. Information lacking on geology of the region, artists and architect of the Picasso museum. I have no doubt the guide will be of more value for a city tour!

Dear Karin, Thank you for taking my tour. I did my best to make the tour enjoyable for all of you, but it did not work on the day in Hakone. Best regards, Yuki

“ Asakusa, Senso-Ji Temple and Tea Ceremony ”

We had a wonderful day with Yuki!! He met us at our hotel and arranged a Tea Ceremony with Kimono dress at Asakusa. We walked around Asakusa, had delicious Ramen for lunch then visited the Senso-Ji Temple and Wales through the markets and shopping areas. We tasted some traditional Japanese deserts and saw the Owl Cafe. Yuki then took us back to our hotel. Yuki was a wonderful host we are looking forward to another day with him next week.

Dear Wanda, Thank you for taking my tour of Tokyo. Your daughters are so cute with Kimono. Looking forward to seeing you soon! Yuki

“ Great Asakusa and Sumida river, and Kamakura tours with Yuki ”

Our group of 2 couples enjoyed our tour with Yuki for this tour to Asakusa, river cruise and more. We even added an hour for a quick Ginza stop. He helped us make the most of our time and we also went on a full day at Kamakura with Yuki. He is a retired nuclear engineer and well spoken. He provided us with on-point information and kept a good pace.

Dear Wendy, Thank you for taking my tours. I am very glad that you listen to my explanations about Buddhism in Japan. I hope this information helps you to enjoy your cruising around Japan including Kyoto. Best regards, Yuki
