Kashima tried his best to show us through Nikko, but we expected much more knowledge in one of the most interesting places in Japan. The information he gave us, we already had when preparing the trip. From a guide we also expected better knowledge in English.
Michael san, Thank you very much for your helpful review for me and selecting me as a guide for your precious Nikko tour. We visited Toshogu shrine, Akechidaira, Lake-Chuzenji and Kegon-waterfall. Unfortunately, due to cloudy whether, we could not take Ropeway in Akechidaira to view the landscape and we could not see clear view of Kegon-waterfall near Lake-Chuzenji. You had ever come to Japan decades years ago and this trip in Japan is your 3rd one. . I am pleased to hear from you that you know well Japan and love Japan ncluding Nikko. Also, I am amazed that you will have your own tour through Japan with your family by renting a car after this tour . I felt that you kindly educated me by this review so that I can become more professional guide capable to explain much more deep informat... read more
Totally competent caring for our group. Got us through the day with ease. English was frequently difficult to understand, though. Very good skills getting us through all our train and bus changes. Did not, though, keep us together through the Himeji castle, nor give us any education while inside.
Bob san, Thank you very much for your utmost and helpful review for me and selecting me as a guide for your Himeji & Kobe tour. I am pleased that I could support your, your wife and your group of 8 people from your cruise ship members. All your members are so active to learn about Japanese history, culture and daily life. I could communicate a lot with all your members. Also, I am pleased that you kindly pointed out my inperfected points. I will improve my explanation skill about each spots information by English with more slowly and accurate so that everyone can easy understand. As for the explanation inside Himeji castle, I am sorry that I could not explain there. I will improve how to explain to large members during climbing up to 7 stories castle with jammed situation. I hope tha... read more
MR. Kashima is a very nice guy, but I am not sure I got a good value for the money I paid.
Dov san, Thank you very much for your great and helpful review for me and selecting me as a guide for your precious Hakone tour. Thanks to your strong will to learn Japanese culture, history and daily life status, we could exchange lots of conversation and I think that I could explain lots of deep information for those. Unfortunately, the whether was cloudy and you can not see Mt.Fuji during the tour. Based on your review comments, I will improve to provide more values to cutomers exceeding a lot against the payment I received from now on. I am looking forward to receiving another request from you in near future. Thanks, Kashima
Kashima san was very prompt and helpful in designing our itinerary. We travelled as a family group of 14 people visiting Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo and Kashima san was very patient and responsive. He is helpful and pretty good in communicating in English. There are however some tourist attractions that he has not been to for some time so his awareness of wheelchair accessibility etc was limited. I would recommend Kashima san for one or 2 day trips rather than a multi-city long duration tour.
Devayani san, Thank you very much for your great and helpful review for me. We could have a very pleasant tour during 8 days with all 14 people of you and your family using Van transportation ranging from Kyoto area to Tokyo area. You kindly reserved Van service for 8 days. We visited Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Himeji, Tokyo and Hakone. Thanks to all your family strong curiosity for Japanese history and culture, I could explain about those in detail during the tour. As you kindly pointed out to me, at this time I could not well manage to select tour spots and escort for your family who use wheelchairs. This was my first time to take care for the case. Based on this precious experience, I will improve to manage for wheelchair supporting. I am looking forward to receiving another tour guiding req... read more

Dimitri san, Thank you very much for your great review for me. I am very much pleased that your 12-year old son could enjoy and felt impressed for the experience of Tokyo tour, specially playing several advanced games in Odaiba and watching Samurai sword play and sword fighting between two Samurais in Samurai museum. I could introduced six different types of town such as Asakusa (old fashioned style town), Odaiba (enormous entertainment town), Takeshita-street (most advanced fashion places of dispatch, specially for young girls), Omotesando(sophisticated street for young and mature adults), Shinjuku (the most bustling entertainment town for all generations) and Shibuya(the most famous busy town, specially as Shibuya crossing and Hachi dog). I hope that you could enjoy those towns. I am l... read more
