Thank you, Yuga. That was a fun two days. I'm glad that the afternoon tea place was a great discovery for you. And I learned a lot from you. I wish all of you the best. Kindest regards, Yoko
Yoko showed us so many interesting spots in Takayama and gave us time to enjoy each stop. We have been on Private tours that rushed us so we could see everything. Yoko made sure we enjoyed each stop whether it was the morning market, museum or sake tasting. Her excellent English made it easy to understand.
Many thank you for your wonderfully kind words, Paul! I'm glad to know that you went back to the market and got some more you wanted. I learned more about Hawaii from you and like it more now. I hope to see you back in Japan again before too long! Best wishes to you all - Yoko
My husband and I had a most informative and enjoyable tour of Hida-Takayama with Yoko guiding our way. She is very knowledgeable about the area and made our time with her go by very fast because she is so personable and kind as well as knowledgeable. Having Yoko take us to the morning market was a treat because we were able to find out about the different foods that were there to be sampled. We enjoyed the historical and cultural sites more because Yoko provided us with additional information and details, much more than going by ourselves - we really learned a lot about Takayama, and we highly recommend Yoko for your guide if you are visiting the area.
It was a pleasure to spend time with you and thank you so much for your kind words. There is nothing better rewarding to me than a happy guest. Learning about "fountain pen" was pleasant for me, too. Enjoy the rest of your trip. My very best wishes to you. Yoko
