You can see many Japanese houses standing near the waterway, and water is closely related with the local people’s daily life. Passing through many low ceiling bridges is really fun, also you may have an opportunity to listen to some Japanese songs sung by a waterman during the boat tour.
  • Ohana (Former feudal lord’s villa) --- After getting off the destination, we will visit ‘Ohana’ and ‘Shoto-en’. Ohana was a villa of Tachibana Family, a feudal load who ruled Yanagawa area. It provides a beautiful landscape garden named ‘Shoto-en’, a Western-style Seiyokan Annex and a Tachibana museum which houses splendid collections of antiques such as samurai’s armors, helmets, scroll paintings, other utensils that has been passed down through generations. If you hope, we will enjoy having lunch at a restaurant next to the garden.
  • Toshima Family House (former samurai residence) --- At the end of this tour, we will visit ‘Toshima Family House’, which was a former samurai house built about 200 years ago. This tiny Japanese house with thatched roof and tatami mat rooms will take you back to the feudal ages of Japan and we can touch the history and lifestyle in the feudal ages of Japan.

“ Memorable Fukuoka ”

Our family immensely enjoyed our tour with Yoshi. Even prior to our travel to Fukuoka, he was very prompt, detailed and attentive to our questions and concerns via the email. It was an enjoyable Fukuoka experience with Yoshi's professionalism, knowledge, patience, helpfulness and friendliness. Enjoyed all the interesting places he brought us to, including the beautiful gardens and sights, shopping and souvenir stores, the dining places, yatais included. Will recommend Yoshi to future Fukuoka travellers. Thank you Yoshi from our family.

“ Nagasaki Tour ”

Two weeks ago Yoshiharu guided myself and three friends around Nagasaki. He was very organized and prepared. He added to our tour of the Peace Park and the Atomic Museum by bringing additional materials to further explain what we were experiencing. Yoshiharu calmly guided us through some very congested places and managed to keep us all together. We all thoroughly enjoyed meeting and spending the day with Yoshiharu and believe he provided us with a wonderful and meaningful day in Nagasaki that we will never forget. Lawrence Dennis USA

“ Very friendly and descent ”

This guide has been very friendly and tried to inform me about as many things as he could. I did really enjoy talking with him and we had a nice traditional lunch together. The boat trip was very interesting as well as the museum we went. The highlight of the trip was a visit to an old Samurai house. Due to his calm attitude and his engagement I would definitely recommend him again.

“ Day Trip to Itoshima and Fukuoka for a multi-generational family ”

Yoshi-san was a very nice guide who kindly helped us book a van for our family of 8 to go on a tour around Fukuoka. Yoshi-san was able to adapt to our multi-generational family with ages ranging from 7 to 70's, and he accommodated our request to fit in a trip to Itoshima, where we had lunch with a nice view of the seaside and shopped at the bakery. We also went to Kushida Shrine and Tōchō-ji Temple-- the trip through "Hell" was interesting! Because of the rainy weather and the unusually heavy traffic that day we were not able to go to Yosentei Park. But all in all, we enjoyed the tour. Yoshi-san also gave us recommendations for our next stop in Japan (Osaka).
