What to Expect

Japan is blessed with so many unique cultures. Why don’t you experience Japanese culture during your stay in Japan? This tour provides traditional & new culture experience of Japan. You will have an opportunity to see the traditional culture and feel the new trend in fashion here!
First, we will visit ‘Hakata-Za’, one of the most famous theaters in Kyushu, to see Kabuki. Kabuki is a classical Japanese play performed exclusively by male actors. The roles of ladies, women are impersonated by men. Rhythmical words, unique dancing, gorgeous costumes and stage settings, colorful make-up, and music performed by traditional musical instruments will definitely attract you.
Before and after seeing Kabuki, we will have time to enjoy shopping at souvenir shops in the theater. Some souvenirs are being sold only in the theater, so they may be a good memory of Japan.

Next we will visit ‘Owl Cafe’, one of the newest trend and culture of Japan. There we will have great time with owls. They are so cute and friendly. They can perch on your arm, shoulder or even head if you hope. Of course it is allowed to take photos with them.
That café offers an opportunity to communicate with owls. We will make friends with them. That will be really a great moment.

Finally we will visit Kushida-Shrine, which has been loved by local people since ancient times. We will learn how to make offering and pray at Shinto shrine, and what Shinto is like.

We will visit these 3 places on foot. According to the congestion of the ‘Owl Cafe’, we will alternate the order of ‘Owl Cafe’ and ‘Kushida Shrine’.
NOTE: This tour is valid until 26th of June due to the performance dates of 'Kabuki' play.

“ Beppu tour ”

Yoshihara was excellent. Our experience was very different from our previous tours we (ship tours) we took while we were in Japan, especially our lunch where we steamed our food from the natural "onsen" steam around the city. Tours were excellent and his guide fees were very reasonable. Yoshi was very flexible and we were able to change our itinerary as we went along.
