Zazen is silent meditation of Zen Buddhism and it is performed in sitting. This tour is to have an experience of Zazen at Eiheiji Zen Head Temple where it was founded by Zen Master Dogen who first taught Zen in Japan. The Temple has been filled with the bracing and serene atmosphere of Zen practitioners. Let’s try Zazen to see inside yourself and/or relax in the deep mountains during busy travelling.

Yoshie met us at the Kanazawa train station and took us to our hotel. She helped us make a shinkansen reservation for all my upcoming trips in Kanazawa, Takayama, Nagano and Shirakawago area. She is such a pleasure to work with. She took us around with public transportation. I traveled with my 9 and 7 years old and they didn't feel it was too much walking. Yoshie timed everything very well. I highly recommend her for those who are looking for a private guide around Kanazawa, Nagano, Takayama and Shirakawago area
Thank you so much for your kind review, Venny! I also had a great time talking to you and being with your family while we were on the tour. You are such a lovely person! During your 5 nights stay in Kanazawa, we did so many day-trips and one of the highlights was to see Snow Monkeys in Nagano. I am truly glad that your children could see dozens of snow monkeys playing in the mountain and enjoying in Onsen (hot spring) after a long walk of the trail. We had an experience of having a traditional Japanese cuisine in Kanazawa and a BBQ in Takayama and taking lots of pictures at every attractions. Those will be my precious memories. I hope you can come back to Japan to see more beautiful places. Yoshie
