Overview

Aren’t you interested in visiting Japanese schools and experiencing some activities with the students there?

In this tour you will visit an elementary school and/or a junior high school as well as see the sights in the neighboring area.

Just take a look at the following to learn more about what you can expect to do at school and what sightseeing spots are available for you.

What to Expect

Your tour would be something like the following. Of course, the schedule is flexible at your request. You could make the school visit shorter and spend more time seeing the sights or vice versa. You could also visit a high school if you would like to enjoy talking more with the students in English. I could tailor your tour the way you would like me to, even the activities you would experience with the students at school.

“ A fantastic tour around Aomori ”

Yuki was a truly fantastic guide. Knowing that things would be busy and hectic during Golden Week, I reached out to Yuki to begin planning a tour. Yuki provided very prompt and detailed responses to all my questions, and laid out a detailed itinerary for my consideration. Once we arrived at the train station, Yuki assisted us in booking our return tickets, ensuring we had reserved seats on the right train, and could sit together in the same car. Once we began our adventure it was clear -- Yuki was very prepared to provide detailed information, history, and background that would help us better appreciate each stop on the tour. Yuki's command of English is great -- I didn't tell him this, but his time studying ESL in San Francisco left a slight West Coast accent, which, like his laugh, wa... read more

Hiroyuki:

Nick, I'm glad you came back to the States safe and sound. Thank you so much for your review of the tour. I really appreciate it! You also did a great job getting all the tickets necessary to come to Aomori from Hachinohe in advance. Without your cooperation, I'm sure I couldn't have carried out this tour. I'm glad you've chosen the area far from the place you had stayed and that I could show you around the sightseeing spots popular among international tourists. I really thank you for choosing me as your guide. Yuki

“ Thumbs Up! ”

Excellent communication with Yuki. All questions were answered promptly while preparing for the tour. He is patient, dedicated to his job and speaks very good English (he was a former English teacher). Time to see the sights of Hakodate was limited (1 day only) and challenging due to snowing but Yuki was able to show us a lot of places in a short time and he gave us time to enjoy the snow (we were able to build a snowman!) as it is the first time for the other younger members of our group to experience snow! 😊

Hiroyuki:

Hi Carol, Thank you for the review of your trip. I'm really sorry you spent the time in Hakodate on a stormy day at the end of the year. It was very cold and the view was blocked by the bad weather. The good thing for you was that we had more snow in Hakodate after you came to Hokkaido, and some of you started making a snowman, which was the last thing I had expected. Their snowman was almost perfect! I wonder where they learned a skill to make such a pretty snowman. Well, I hope you will remember the time you spent here and that you may have another chance to visit the city, say, sometime between spring and fall. Yuki

“ Memorable Hakodate. ”

We had an awesome time with Yuki-San. He has a very good command of English and we are able to understand each other’s needs. He had been extreme patience with us, especially we had a physically handicapped guest with us. He made sure her well being was looked after and warned areas where might be a challenged for her to walk. Intinerary was carefully planned and we did not feel the rush we used to experience in a tour group. Will certainly recommend him especially when needed one who can communicate with you in English.

Hiroyuki:

Hi Ivy, Thanks for writing a review of your tour. I was a bit worried about your flight to Tokyo the following day, but I'm glad you could finally leave snowy Hakodate. I myself really enjoyed being with you during the tour, especially the time I spent with Zixin while you were shopping. I was fascinated by his character. He's very nice. The best memory I had with you during the tour is that we could see the panoramic view of the harbor and the city from Mt. Hakodate. We were very lucky, weren't we? That was the only time that day the view could be clearly seen from there. Well, thank you so much for choosing Hakodate as one of your destinations and thank you for choosing me as your guide.

“ Great tour of Hakodate with Yuki ”

Our group of 8 spent the day touring Hakodate with Yuki in a private van hired for the day. We enjoyed our visit to Hakodate and all the sites that Yuki managed to pack into our short stay. Our lunch stop was especially memorable as we all tried different things. We were fortunate to experience the last days of the cherry blossoms in northern Japan - Yuki understood our wishes and ensured that we had a fabulous view of the blossoms at the Goryokaku Park, and the view from the Goryokaku Tower was wonderful. We highly recommend Hiroyuki to any group or couple looking for a knowledgeable guide in Japan

Hiroyuki:

Dall, how have you been? Fine, I hope. Time flies! It's been two months already since we met in Hakodate. I guess the people in your group have exchanged their wonderful memories with each other. I really enjoyed myself with you. Yes, I still remember taking orders from all of you and I was glad the foods each of you ordered were served just as you did. To tell you the truth, I was a bit nervous at that time as you tried different things. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the lunch. Well, you made me feel confident about that. Thanks! Oh, thank you also for showing me how to use AirDrop. That function has really worked, and I've showed my clients how to use that since then. Anyway, I can't forget about you and your group, and I really had a very good time with each of you. Please k... read more

“ Best tour ever ”

We booked many private tours on this trip to Japan, but Yuki was the best tour guide. His English is outstanding, his knowledge of Aomori was excellent, he was fun and flexible and he took us to a restaurant frequented by locals that was both great and very inexpensive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Yuki very highly.

Hiroyuki:

Hi, Cheryl Thanks for your quick response with your real satisfaction with the tour. Your words of encouragement have made me feel how wonderful this job is! I really appreciate it. I'm glad your group really enjoyed the tour to Hirosaki. I also enjoyed being with you very much. In fact, I felt from what we had exchanged your kind personality. So Cheryl, I was really looking forward to meeting you. I truly believe we could finish our tour successfully because of you and other members in your group who were very nice and cooperative. Thank you again and I do hope we can see each other again sometime in the future. Yuki
