Toshi is very knowledgeable about Tokyo and Japanese history. He is also flexible and we took breaks as needed. as we were visiting in August and it is extremely hot and humid. We traveled by subway and on foot. Walked 11 miles the first day but learned so much about the culture. He even took extra time to help us with ticketing issues. His English language skills, while not as good as a native speaker perhaps, are perfectly fine. My family enjoyed conversing with Toshi throughout the day as he patiently answered all of our questions. We did cover his subway and meals/drinks expense, but it was not at all an issue. I would definitely recommend Toshi highly for your touring guide needs.
Dear Anju-san, Thank you for the wonderful tour review. It was nice two days for me with your family. Yes, it is extremely hot in this August. It was relatively cool in the middle of July with a lot of rain. But after the end of rainy season, it changed to dangerously hot in almost all area in Japan. Many people go to hospital because of dehydration or heat stroke. You took a coffee break appropriately and we could visit all spots as scheduled with good health condition. It is important to take a rest occasionally with something drink in the air conditioned comfortable place. You know how to travel in hot area well. It was good experience for me. Thank you very much. Please come to Japan again in March cherry blossom season next time. Best regards, Toshihiro
