Kashima was wxcellent. We had Kashima guide us for 1 day in Kyoto and 1 day in Tokyo a few days later. Though we did a lot of sightseeing on our own in both cities, they were more local to where we were staying, Kashima guided us to places more out of the way, e.g. Golden Temple in Kyoto and Meiji Shrine in Tokyo. He was a great guide, very friendly, very informative about the places we visited as well as a more general history of Japan and the cities we visited. He also helped is with traditions and manners whilst in Japan. We finished our day in Tokyo in a Whisky bar in Ginza, which Kashima picked out specifically as we are from Scotland. Whilst in there having dinner and a few drinks he really came out of his shell and we got to know Kashima the person so much better. We would have no hesitation in recommending Kashima and when we return we would certainly look him up.
David san, Thank you very much for your warm and utmost review for me. I am very much impressed that one of your primary purpose to come to Japan is to celebrate your son as memorial age of 21 years old of your country custom. During the 2 days tour of Kyoto and Tokyo, we visited Arashiyama, temple/garden, bamboo forest, Golden pavilion, Fushimi-inari shrine in Kyoto and Asakusa/temple, Meiji shrine, Harajuku, Shibuya, Shinjuku and Ginza in Tokyo. I like Japanese history, specially about the human drama of Samurai top worriers for each era of Heian, Kamakura, Azuchi-Momoyama and Edo. I am pleased that you could take my explanation as worth to hear. Also, we could enjoy an experience of brief tasting of Yakitori with drinking at Omoideyokocho open food stand in Shinjuku. Finally, it was a very good opportunity for me to escort you to a Whisky bar with dinner in Ginza where you could taste both Scotch whisky and Japanese one. As you kindly wrote, we could exchange funny conversation during the precious dinner time. I am looking forward to meeting with you again in near future. Thanks, Kashima
