“ Absolutely amazing guide! ”

We scheduled 2 days with Kukiko (one for Tokyo and one for Kamakura), and had such a wonderful time that we added a third day in Hakone with her! Yukiko is one of those rare guides who makes you immediately feel at ease and in fact treats you as if you are her treasured guest. We quickly connected with her and felt as if she was part of our family. She is extremely knowledgeable about the sights and shared the histories and stories of the places with us. She had everything organized and mapped out on a map, that she gave us at the end of each day with personalized and detailed instructions of which subway car or train to use and how to find it. Her English is perfect, and she was always watching to make sure that we were comfortable and ask if we needed a restroom or water. She knew that we wanted to shop at local booths as well, and she kindly would stroll us to them and go in with us to allow us time to shop if we wanted. She chose restaurants for us, and that was so fun to have her help us choose the food, be our interpreter with the restaurant staff, and show us the Japanese way of eating certain things. Every day Yukiko showed us so many sights that we never would have found without her. And she was so fun. We laughed and had such a great time with her. She truly became part of our family in Japan! We only wish that she would come to the US so we could show her around! I would highly recommend Yukiko as a guide, and if I return to Japan, I will definitely be hiring her again for more tours! Thank you Yukiko!!
