We had an early start with Chiaki on April 13th, 2019 with Chiaki meeting us at our Hotel Lobby. A pleasant lady who took us around to see the sites of the old and the new parts of Tokyo. We explored the Sensoji Temple and market areas. Moved onto the Imperial palace where we explored the vast gardens and walked into modern Tokyo. Rikugien was off the beated track as i wanted to see this beautiful garden of poetry. Waka poets were inspired by this peaceful area. Chiaki seemed well versed in this area of poetry. Thank you Chiaki for showing us around and also the train system which we learned to master subsequently. Best wishes to you The Raux Family
Thank you Kalani, for your review! I’m glad to know that you had enjoyable time in Japan. Rikugien became the favorite Japanese Garden for me, too, because we talk about the world of Japanese poetry and had wonderful time together. I’m also happy that my tour was helpful for getting accustomed to the complicated train system. Hope to meet you again in Japan! Best wishes to you, too!
