We had a wonderful day with Maru as our guide. We started off at nine when Maru met us at our hotel. We had requested a tour consisting both of the old Tokyo and some of the new Tokyo. Luckily for us the cherry trees were in full bloom so we started off at the imperial palace and moved our way up toward chidora-ga-fuchi park where we had lots of spectacular views of the cherry trees. After that we headed on toward some of the older parts, visiting the area around Kagurazaka. Narrow streets with picturesque stores. Maru found a lovely restaurant for us to take a great lunch on the tatami mat. After lunch Maru took us to Meiji shrine and also Harajuku. Both very interesting although very different from each other, and it was so nice to have Maru to navigate our way both around the shrine, letting us take part of the traditions there and among the kawaii stores on Takeshita street. We ended the tour in Shibuya after a visit to the famous crossing. Maru is so sweet and took good care of us making our first day here in Tokyo such a delight.
Thank you Mikael, for the wonderful review! It was very nice sharing the day with you! We certainly accomplished seeing a lot of traditional and new Tokyo. I also enjoyed talking with you and Emy so much that I felt the time passed so fast. Hope you enjoy the rest of days in Tokyo and please come again with your daughters next time. I’d be happy to take them more Kawaii places🎵Thank you again for your kind remarks.⭐️Maru
