Toshi-san (as he preferred to be called) was an excellent tour guide. His fee was very competitive. He kindly picked us up in the morning to our hostel and started the tour. He is very punctual. He took us to places that I requested and was very patient with us. We are a family of three generation (grandparents, parents and children) and just arrived the night before from Chicago. My children was having jetlag so my five year old was sleeping in the stroller by the end of the day. Toshi-san helped us carrying the stroller with the child in it going up and down the stairs in the subway station. He gave us a great tour, taught us History of Japan and very kind through it all. We enjoyed the experience very much and he gave us a wonderful first impression of Japan as this is our first time visiting this country. He was very gracious and made sure we know how to get home even though it passed the agreed time for the tour. I gave him my highest recommendation if you need a guide in Tokyo. Thank you, Toshi-san. We definitely will look for you as our tour guide when we return to Tokyo.
Dear Shinta-san, Thank you for the wonderful tour review. It was very happy time for me to guide your three generation family because all of you treated me as if I were a member of your group. I also enjoyed the tour with you. Sometimes I had done a guide for the families with the stroller. In Tokyo, most of the railway stations have the elevators. But some are installed very far side from the destination we would like to visit. So we used the stairs in some subway stations to take a shortcut. It might be a little bit hard work for you because all of you suffered jet lag just after arriving at Tokyo from Illinois. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation. I hope that your kids will have stronger interests on Japan and that all of you will come to Japan again for longer periods like one month or more after the kids become teenagers. Best regards, Toshihiro
