Going to Harajuku with T-chan was the best present I could give myself in Tokyo! She had excellent communication before we met outlining our whole interary for the 5 hours we would be together. She honored what I hoped most to see with what was fun and interesting I would miss without her guidance. And since the rain wasn’t in our favor for a shopping excursion, she was a ray of sunshine pointing out the best shops and places so we wouldn’t waste time. She made sure I saw and understood as much of the Japanese culture as she could in our short time together. I was grateful she was very careful to put me on the right train back to my hotel since I was a solo traveler. Afterwards, she sent me a detailed email of what we saw together, and places I might want to go back to since it was so rainy on our day. I recommend her as an excellent, very professional guide who will show you surprising, fun, little places you didn’t know about in Tokyo. She has a wonderful sense of humor and is truly fun to hang out with on a tour of the city.
Thank you for your kind words, Eydie! Your glowing review is very humbling. I had a spectacular day with you too (despite the rain). Harajuku is my most favorite place in Tokyo. Glad to hear that our tour showed you a completely different perspective of it despite having been there a year ago. Guests are pleasantly surprised when I show them my favorite haunts. It was interesting to see the same dress Lady Gaga bought, wasn't it? Shibuya is another interesting shopping town. Let me show you my personal favorites there next time. Hope to see you again soon!
