We like to tour the first day of a trip and then go on our own after that in a City. Koichiro did a perfect job for that. He met us at our hotel lobby, took us to the Subway and helped us buy Subway passes and carefully explained how public transport works in Tokyo. The rest of the day we asked him many questions about the places we were visiting and he always had good explanations. We also asked him questions about destinations we were planning for the remainder of our stay in Tokyo and if it required research he would look online and call places for us and get answers as needed to set us on a good path for the rest of the trip. Koichori isn't the type of guide to stop and give a practiced speech aloud at each site. Instead he's more conversational - the more you ask about the sites and local culture, the more you find out. Koichori has the youthful stamina to walk and keep going with you all day long. And most of all, I could see his concern for me and my family, he really is a sweet guy who wanted so much that we would all be happy and get to see all that we wanted to see (by the way, that one negative review on here is clearly from a raving lunatic and should be taken down - you can tell from reading the ranting that the lady is a nutjob). So I give Koichori 5 big stars!
Hi Scott, thank you for taking your time to write a great review! I'm glad that I was able to take you and your family to the finest spots in Tokyo such as Tsukiji, Asakusa, Akihabara Nakano Broadway. Above all others, I'm happy that we could spend and enjoy the time from the same viewpoint that can be linked to my best memories in my life. Thank you for the epic time at Yebisu Bar in Tokyo station and I hope to have great time again😁👍 Koichiro
