Mayumi was very helpful, our group of three adults booked her for one day in mid November. It was our second day in Tokyo and the first time in the city for most of us. My wife said it was like taking a tour with a friend. Mayumi gave us a lot of history and interesting tidbits about the city and sites as we went along. When she picked us up from our hotel she suggested that we add a stop at Tokyo Tower because it was a nice day. We discovered what she meant when we arrived, when we were greeted with a crisp clear view of Mount Fuji. It was the only time on our trip we were able to view it. We walked so much, it felt like we walked 20 miles at the end of the day. My wife and I aren’t the fastest walkers but Mayumi was patient and we covered a lot of ground, in addition to Tokyo Tower we visited Zojo-ji temple, the Imperial Palace grounds, Senso-ji temple, an Owl Café in Akihabara, and Hamarikyu Gardens. We really felt we got to see and learn about quite a bit of the city. It was very convenient to be able to have someone guide us though all the trains stations, especially since a lot of those stations are like mazes. My wife and I have some dietary limitations but Mayumi took us to a restaurant for lunch that we all enjoyed. Mayumi gave us excellent recommendations for several things that we were able to add into the rest of our time in Tokyo, to include a ginkgo tree festival and the rooftop observation at the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower. Both were great sights; we were even able to spot the yellow ginkgo trees from the rooftop of the tower. My daughter also wanted me to mention that we were able to get tickets to the Mori Building Digital Art Museum the day after our tour, Mayumi assured here it was a very popular art exhibit. We spent most of the day there interacting with the art and even had art in our tea cups! We really enjoyed it. My daughter has already passed Mayumi’s information to several of her friends in coworkers interested in visiting Tokyo. And had we had more days there we may have tried booking another day with Mayumi, she was that helpful
Hello Tyrone, it’s such a pleasure to hear from you. Thank you so much for the great and detailed review. Actually, it was the best day to see the breathtaking view of Mt Fuji from Tokyo. There have not been better days since then so far. Thank you for sharing your good fortune with me. I’m also very happy to know that you successfully got the tickets of Mori Digital Art Museum and enjoyed it. How lucky you were! I can well imagine your trip to Japan must have been filled with great memories. And I really appreciate that your daughter has already passed my information to her friends. I can assure you that I always struggle to give the best service to each of my guest. Please give my best regards to her. Don’t forget to let me know when you come back to Tokyo. I’ll be waiting for the day. See you!
