My wife Bonnie and I had an absolutely wonderful (although exhausting) day exploring the beautiful north eastern portion of Tokyo. There is no way that we could have navigated Tokyo's extensive public transit system without Akira. He was extremely knowledgable about everything we did on our tour His English comprehension was excellent and Akira went way above what we expected. He was warm, funny, approachable and caring. We are so glad we did this private tour. At one point, we accidentally left a package of souvenirs that we had purchased on one of the trains. Nothing was terribly valuable, but Akira insisted we put in a lost and found claim which we thought would be a waste of time. About 2 hours later AKira received a call from the public transportation people and they had found our package. We were absolutely shocked that someone in one of the largest and certainly busiest cities in the world would turn in our package and a few hours later we would have it back. This is beyond efficiency and Akira's efforts in this situation went way above his duties. Akira is a bssolutely a people first kind of guy. He deserves the highest rating possible.
Dear William, Thank you for the great review. I am so happy that you enjoyed the day. We had a great time with so many surprise, the lantern given by generous owner of restaurant where we had the best (!) tempura, good sake in Marunouchi, the lost and found claim, and the delay caused by train accident on the way back to your hotel. Yes, that was really exhausting day however, remembering what we had experience together on that day make me smile (hoping you feel the same way...) and I was so happy to witness the miracle happened to you on that day. It was like a well written movie, mixture of good things and bad things bring to the happy ending. I hope that you will have another chance to come back to my loving city for more adventure, discovery and another miracle perhaps. Sincerely, Akira Nakashima
