I booked a Tokyo tour thinking it would be a good idea for the first day to get an overview of the city and become comfortable with the trains. Now I would change that description to “essential”. Having a guide the first day was like making a friend right away in a new city. Mayumi was warm, energetic, and her English is impeccable! Her knowledge of Japanese history, botany, pop culture and transportation is bar none. She was very kind and conplementary to me and my 12-year old son. He said he wished we could hang out with her again!! Also note: I booked mayumi based on her stellar reviews, but also partly based on one criticism she got, which was walking too fast! I knew we would have to walk fast to pack in as much as we wanted to. Do yourself a favor: do not hesitate, book Mayumi for your tour of Tokyo. You will NOT be disappointed. Arigato Mayumi!!!!!
Arigato!!!!!! Michelle. I really miss you!!! Your comment made me feel like crying for gratitude. Your warm smile encouraged me to show you as many places as possible in our limited time. I was really happy that George enjoyed every single minute with me. I’ve been super busy these days and visit the garden we went together almost every day. I never go there without remembering you and George. Thank you for everything during the tour. I guess you’ve already got back to your place and returned to your daily life. I always wish you well. I do want to see you again and help you with another adventure in Japan. Please say hello to George. I’ll be waiting for you to come back to me. See you!
