We've booked 2 half-day with Kahoko. As this was our 2nd trip to Tokyo, we were not looking for major tourist sights (which we already saw during our first trip) but for some special places or tours which we found with Kahoko. Kahoko is great companion, providing timely & comprehensive explanations. She has fairly good English so we didn't have any issue communicating with her. First, we've hiked Mt. Takao which was relatively short, moderate hike up small mountain (~600 meter and apprx. 1/3 of the way is served by cable car/lift). Mt. Takao tour is well organized and includes Cable car ride, strolling through monastery/shrine on the way up, going through forest/mountain bridge/lift on the way down and nice lunch in Soba restaurant. Would recommend it to anyone looking to do some exercising in the nice place. Especially though, we've enjoyed tour at Kahoko's own home ("Cultural Experience at Kahoko's home") - this was on another day of course. The day was our anniversary so we had high expectations and it didn't disappoint! The tour includes trying out kimono (we've chosen to upgrade to formal Kimono), going to lovely garden nearby wearing kimono, tea ceremony plus homemade lunch. All aspects of the experience is well thought and prepared. Kahoko proved to be wonderful host and overall experience was great.
